Community Reviews
US Mobile Unlimited Starter at $10 a month for six months stands out as a flexible short term phone plan, especially for anyone wanting to avoid paying a full year up front or to bridge a port in or temporary coverage need. The plan can be activated on Warp, Dark Star, or Lightspeed, and the six month promo is cheaper than paying monthly for Mint Mobile upfront. The main drawback is that the promo ends after six months, with regular pricing kicking in, and new customer eligibility requires the number to be off US Mobile for 30 days. Some also flag occasional missed inbound calls and worry about relying on future promos later.
Common Questions (5)
The promo is a 6-month introductory rate, and after that Unlimited Starter goes to $25/month. You can leave when the promo ends, but if you stay, the regular rate applies.
The annual Unlimited Starter promo is $199 for a year, while the 6-month promo totals $60. If you expect to stay longer than 6 months, the annual plan is cheaper overall; if you only need short-term service, the monthly promo gives more flexibility.
The $10 monthly promo depends on staying enrolled and paying on time; if autopay is missed, the promo ends and the regular rate applies. Rejoining later would be at the standard price.
Warp uses Verizon, Dark Star uses AT&T, and Lightspeed uses T-Mobile. You choose the network during activation.
Yes. The deal requires the number to have been off US Mobile for 30 days to count as a new customer.

Can you prepay 6 months or only 1 month at a time?
Is this better or the yearly one?
What about roaming and international call and text but most importantly data?
If you choose this or the Mint Mobile, which is better?

Went over to Total Wireless to find out they have their premium 5G unlimited plan if you BYOD for $20 on autopay! Half the price I was paying at US Mobile too! I would use Total instead. They're owned by Verizon too. Hope this helps!
The price of Unlimited Premium after 6 months is $ 44, not $25.
I am not sure how to have this updated in the original post. Can someone please change this?
Thanks.

I've read others with this issue that have missed important calls that never rang them. I've never once had this issue on Visible, Metro, and a dozen other carriers. Right now it's not a complete deal breaker for me, but if it continues or gets worse, might have to leave. Just a heads up if you receive very important calls often!
