US Mobile's Unlimited Starter promo is a low upfront way to get six months of service, especially for anyone who wants flexibility to leave early or pair it with a second line. The plan can run on Warp, Dark Star, or Lightspeed, and the network choice maps to Verizon, AT and T, or T Mobile at activation. The main drawback is the short promo window, since the rate jumps to $25 after six months and the number must be off US Mobile for 30 days to count as new again. Some also flag occasional missed inbound calls and a few usage guideline concerns, so it fits best when short term savings matter more than long term simplicity.

Does it make sense to get this and then plan to get Total Wireless $20/mo BYOD plan in 6 months?

Yes, but hopefully Starlink phone service will be available and even cheaper.
Lol why will it be cheaper? 😜

Isn't mint mobile just $15 a month for 3 months and then $45 a month? So not a competitive deal?
No, mint has a $10 for 6 months plan as well

I should have said cheaper than regular price of $44 after 6 months. Correction! 😄 I'm hoping Starlink's phone service will be priced well.

So this is month to month and you can do it up to 6 months? You can stop paying after the first month if you want it just for one month then? Same with 2 months?

Can you prepay 6 months or only 1 month at a time?

Is this better or the yearly one?

What about roaming and international call and text but most importantly data?

If you choose this or the Mint Mobile, which is better?

Yeah, Warp = Verizon, Dark Star = AT&T, Lightspeed = T-Mobile. You pick upon activation.

Worst company ever. Paid for their top of the line unlimited plan to be booted off their network without notice for violating their "usage guidelines". Their guidelines are ridiculous. No frequent conference calls. No frequent calling during peak hours. Save yourself some trouble. I had to leave work early and port out mine and my wife's number on an emergency basis.

Went over to Total Wireless to find out they have their premium 5G unlimited plan if you BYOD for $20 on autopay! Half the price I was paying at US Mobile too! I would use Total instead. They're owned by Verizon too. Hope this helps!

The price of Unlimited Starter after 6 months is $25, not $44.

The price of Unlimited Premium after 6 months is $ 44, not $25.

I am not sure how to have this updated in the original post. Can someone please change this?

Thanks.

Nobody would allow you to call during peak hours. Because it would ddos their network. The elites use satellite instead of cell service.

Recently added two lines with USM. Everything has been good except one thing, which I have found others with the same issue. Sometimes at random when the other line tries calling me, my phone never rings and they say it's just silence on their end. Doesn't even go to VM.

I've read others with this issue that have missed important calls that never rang them. I've never once had this issue on Visible, Metro, and a dozen other carriers. Right now it's not a complete deal breaker for me, but if it continues or gets worse, might have to leave. Just a heads up if you receive very important calls often!

Im already with them :/ can I port out to Tello and then port back in to US Mobile to take advantage of this offer? Are there any workarounds?
It says the number has to be off US Mobile for 30 days to be considered a new customer.

The current deals are good on any of the 3. They just promote Dark Star more, likely because they are getting a better deal.

https://www.usmobile.com/promo-archive click "Sell full terms" for the FlashBlack Friday.
Network transfers are not blocked. The paid plan may be activated on any US Mobile cellular network.
