US Mobile Unlimited Starter stands out as a low upfront way to get six months of service, especially for people who want flexibility to leave before a full year commitment. The promo is compared against US Mobile's annual starter pricing around $199 to $200, and the network choice can be picked at activation, with Warp on Verizon, Dark Star on AT and T, and Lightspeed on T Mobile. The main drawback is the short promo window, since the rate ends after six months and the regular monthly price is higher. It looks best for short term use, dual SIM backup, or bridging to another phone deal.

Since they're doing a deal like this, I can imagine how much better that BF sale is going to be.

Isn't mint mobile just $15 a month for 3 months and then $45 a month? So not a competitive deal?
I just got the deal of 6mo for $60 to supplement my weak ATT signal at work, and now I am considering this as a dual SIM since TMobile coverage at my house is weak. I can't even watch a youtube video in my driveway if I am working on my car. ATT is good but no signal at work where i spend half of my day. This might be a good deal for me.

Waiting for the yearly deal below 299/199. No use in 6 months and then having to do it all over

It's sad to see they are playing games instead of legitimate offers.

Oh dang good deal but I hate introductory rates. Since I main my Google voice number went with a data only plan with Shield internet. So far so good, full bars in SJC ORD DFW. 15/mo or 13/mo annual plan

i ended up signing up for it; i like the flexibility to leave; its a 10$ monthly; versus the mint mobile is 60$ for 6 month but u pay upfront for all 6 months. This way if theres a good phone deal coming during black friday or christmas (free iphone 18 pro with no trade-in and port etc) -or- if the iphone 16e with 3 month for <200$ i can take advantage of it.
My analysis is the same as any022. While I understand a full year at US Mobile will be more, I don't want to pay up front for a whole year and prefer the flexibility of being able to leave after one month or six. And I need to port out a line from it's current carrier next month, so this works great.

No issues with OTP on GV. No need to port any numbers. And if I wanted i can go without a carrier and just wifi it. I've been maining GV at least 5 years now, but first time without a non voip number. I can't remember the last time a site required a non voip line

I dont have minutes or SMS with Shield but it hasn't been an issue. Only thing is Shield is sim card only. No esim so no apples past iPhone 13. im on Android

So in 6 months you have to find a new plan and with possible a new carrier at the new promotional rate available at that time

no need to hope. i guarantee there will be another deal then.
But it won't be for existing customer so definitely need to find new customer or go to hello for a month nd come back

So in 6 months you have to find a new plan and a new carrier at full price? Or hope there's another deal then?
Yes, but hopefully Starlink phone service will be available and even cheaper.
