This one was disappointing, you would think you could use the numerous attachments with it like an edger or hedger but Toro deliberately made it with a continuous flex shaft all the way down so it's not attachment compatible. If you want attachment compatible, you gotta buy the special top section only model with a battery (which I don't need) for like $280 + the cost of your attachment(s).

That is sold out everywhere and apparently with no ETA of when it will be back on stock.

When you also take into account that all of the attachment heads have been on clearance in the last month or two I'm thinking Toro is discontinued it and just hasn't said so.

Like you said pretty disappointing for the people that are invested into this battery system.

It's because like all other manufacturers they are changing the battery slightly so they sell new tools and batteries. Just like all other companies did this year

I have this one after getting the mower.

String head isn't as easy as it could be.

Lower speed is basically useless. Higher power isn't as good as my Ryobi and I'll probably end up going back to that after a full season of use.

Only upside is I got on sale with the battery so I have that.

I know one company that hasn't done that to anyone yet but people feel shame from using the green tools lol.
