These things are notorious for breaking down in less than a year. My old one lasted 10 years!

I guess it's a good thing that we purchase it from Costco since they have a supposed great return policy?

Save your money and buy the cheaper Sonicare toothbrushes. These always fail within two years no matter how gentle you are with them.

I just fixed my old one that's more than 10 years old. The little screws get loose inside. I had to do it twice, because blue loctite didn't hold and switched to red. It's fine now.

Had mine for two or three years now and it's still going strong. I usually only charge it when the low battery indicator beeps or right before a trip, though the travel case works too if I forget.

Why these 2 pack on sale are always cheaper then 1 on sale I beyond me.

Also, $380 for 2 vs 1 for $300 retail also makes no sense.

I used Sonicare for years, the 30 dollar and 100 dollar ones. Both work great. Then I switched the Oral-B electric with the weird round attachment head. I think the Oral-B does a little better at cleaning between the teeth (yes you're supposed to floss, I'm just saying.. if you're going to buy an expensive toothbrush, I'd get the Oral-B version). Either way, electric is the way to go!
