This 85 inch TCL QM6K Pro is being praised for strong picture quality, especially for sports and gaming, with several setups calling the image beautiful after dialing in settings. It is also described as handling fast games well, with Sekiro and God of War showing no noticeable issues, and the included five year Costco coverage adds value. The main cautions are that 120 hertz 4K output from an Xbox Series X has not been confirmed in one setup, and bright rooms with windows may be better served by the matte QM64L or a higher tier QM7. A solid large screen option if your room and use case fit its strengths.

I've been watching this TV for a while. I think I'm going to bite. Anyone have an idea of a better TV near this price currently for sale?

Supposedly the QM7L pro is much better for a couple hundred more. I'm still on the fence since both speak to blurred fast paced action in sports and I can't have that.

I've had this same model since the spring and I love the TV overall. I've been trying everything to get my Xbox Series X to output 120hz 4K like the TV says it can handle but so far no dice. Picture looks great in my setup and I get a ton of comments from people about how good the picture quality is especially during watching sports. I paid about $100 more than this advertised price and if I wanted an 85 I can't think of a better buy.

I got this also when it was $999 & I love it. I tweaked the image settings over a couple of weeks to get it perfect & it's beautiful.
I have tried any gaming on it yet.

If you have a light controlled room with no reflection issues, this is a great choice. I prefer the glossy screen when possible. However, if you have a brighter room with windows, etc the matte version is what you want. Some independent testing suggests the QM64L Amazon exclusive is a bit brighter than these "K" versions and is matte, so both of those will help in a brighter room.

Was gonna pull the trigger, but found the Sams version for $102 cheaper. Only down side is that its 3yr warranty instead of Costco 5yr

Some stores have the TV for $600. You can buy the 5 year extended warranty for $100.

Anyone know what UI this TV uses? Fire tv, Google, Roku or does TCL have their own?

edit: nvm if the Sam's link above is the same tv, it says it uses Google TV

I thought Costco had a 90-day return policy for TVs? Genuinely asking since I'm in the same boat. I bought mine as soon as the deal went live.
