Community Reviews

This 85 inch TCL QM6K Pro is being praised for strong picture quality, especially for sports and gaming, with several setups calling the image beautiful after dialing in settings. It is also described as handling fast games well, with Sekiro and God of War showing no noticeable issues, and the included five year Costco coverage adds value. The main cautions are that 120 hertz 4K output from an Xbox Series X has not been confirmed in one setup, and bright rooms with windows may be better served by the matte QM64L or a higher tier QM7. A solid large screen option if your room and use case fit its strengths.

Living-room movie watchers with a light-controlled room, because the glossy screen looks great when reflections are not an issue.
overlandsea
Sports fans who want a big-screen upgrade, because the picture looks especially good during fast-moving games.
Glewis202
Console gamers who want a strong 85-inch display, because it handles Sekiro and God of War without noticeable lag or problems.
Mogami
Shoppers comparing 85-inch value buys, because the picture quality feels strong enough to justify the size at this price.
Glewis202

Gamers who need confirmed 4K 120Hz output from an Xbox Series X, because the TV can fail to deliver that mode.
Glewis202
Viewers with bright rooms and windows, because the glossy screen can be less suitable than a matte panel in reflective spaces.
overlandsea
Sports viewers who are sensitive to motion blur, because fast-paced action can look blurred.
pechango
Shoppers waiting for a higher-tier model with better screen quality and sound, because the QM7 is described as a clear step up.
manbeing

The TV can produce a strong sports picture with positive feedback in a home setup.
Glewis202
The image can look excellent after adjusting picture settings over a couple of weeks.
ArtieV
The screen choice can work well in a light-controlled room without reflection issues.
overlandsea
The TV can handle demanding games like Sekiro and God of War without noticeable negative effects.
Mogami

Fast-paced sports motion may still show blur concerns when comparing QM6K versus QM7L.
pechango
Xbox Series X may fail to output 120Hz 4K even when the TV is advertised as supporting it.
Glewis202
The bundle deal may feel worse than a prior purchase when the same warranty cost more earlier.
shanekelly.nfld.tx
Warranty coverage can be a tradeoff versus a cheaper alternative with only three years of protection.

Common Questions (5)

The TV is advertised as handling 4K 120Hz, but one owner could not get an Xbox Series X to output 120Hz 4K in practice. It still performs well for gaming overall, with Sekiro and God of War feeling fine.
Glewis202 Mogami
It can look very good for sports, with strong picture quality reported during live games. Fast-paced action is still a concern for some shoppers, so it may be worth prioritizing a higher-tier model if motion blur is a dealbreaker.
pechango Glewis202
It is a strong fit for a light-controlled room with minimal reflections. For brighter rooms with windows, the matte-screen QM64L Amazon exclusive is preferred because it is reportedly a bit brighter and handles glare better.
overlandsea
Yes. The Costco bundle includes 5 years of total coverage, while the Sam's Club version mentioned has a 3-year warranty and was only about $102 cheaper.
Shotgun6343
Yes. One comment notes some stores have the TV for $600, and a 5-year extended warranty can be added for about $100, which can make the total coverage similar to the Costco bundle.

I will wait for at least qm7. Qm7 has much better screen quality and sound than qm6
