The arrogance and greed of LG is truly astonishing. Hopefully debloating TV OS's via AI trend keeps growing.

Waiting for Alienware's oled ultrawide to drop again. This might be too wide for my speakers to create an accurate stereo image

This monitor is terrible.
It's too big for close-range use, especially for FPS games.
The "Dual Mode" doesn't work well due to screen interpolation.
Everything ends up looking very blurry—at least in games with a lot of detail, like Warzone or Battlefield. For simpler games, such as CS or Valorant, it's acceptable.
I ended up buying a Samsung OLED, and I'm very satisfied with both the quality and the price ($350).

Rolling the dice on a good condition panel. Might as well give it a shot with BB's return policy.

Just wanted to share my experience. I was able to pick up one of these at my local Best Buy in "fair" condition. When I picked it up, they gave me the monitor and power cable. Nothing else. Powered it on at home, immediately noticed burn in. It appears this was a floor model with a total power on time of 5049 hours. It's bad. Like, really bad. Tried going through LG to see if they would repair, which of course, they would not without an out of warranty repair cost to me. Will be returning.

I will say, I own the 3440x1440p version and it's great, but this one is WAY better. I would be thrilled with it if it weren't for the burn in.

I ordered a "good" condition open box. When I arrived I was given a dusty monitor with no power adapter, which is $150+ to replace. "Returned" immediately.

The question then becomes is it worth throwing in the Geek Squad warranty to swap out to a new unit or possibly the B-B model instead of the A-B model. If these are display models then they're most likely past the 1-year warranty so the "repair" would be handled by Best Buy directly (they are not going to be able to repair burn-in.) You could potentially opt for replacement to get a new unit for the original price + warranty cost. It does seem like the A-B model is being phased out in favor of the newer B-B one. I can't find any new A-B panels near my area.

Basically. I was surprised it was even for sale. I honestly wouldn't use it even if it was free.
