After some searching, it looks like an older version used a proprietary charger, but the new models use USBC.

Old version had USB-C. New version has the proprietary charging interface (2-pin). I ordered one yesterday to confirm - immediately set up a return when I saw the terrible design change.

The braun trimmer at Walgreens for $32 plus $10 Walgreens cash looks like a way better deal. Braun supports their products with replacement parts and it includes the wire mesh trimmer attachment.

I can attest. The Manscape one was pinching 1/5 times. I got traumatized using it. Manspot is cheaper and better. Not one time snag!
