Amazon Grocery ground beef is a convenient 80 percent lean, 20 percent fat option that works well for chili, burgers, and freezing. The strongest draw is the price when the deal and coupon line up, with some orders landing near $3 per pound before shipping and a few accounts seeing an extra $5 coupon. Past purchases were described as tasting comparable to grocery store and Costco beef, and the product carries a strong review history and USDA inspection. The main caveat is that pricing and availability vary by area, and the country of origin is not clearly shown, which leaves some shoppers uneasy. A practical pick if the deal price appears on your page.
The ground beef can be inspected and passed by the US Department of Agriculture, which supports basic safety oversight.
The beef quality and flavor can match grocery store and Costco ground beef based on a prior purchase at the same price.
The beef can freeze well, which helps with meal planning and reducing waste.
The deal can be available for some addresses, and inventory can show as in stock for certain areas.
The deal price can vary by account and address, with some views showing a higher per-pound price like $7 or $7.36.
The effective cost can rise to nearly $4 per pound after adding shipping, which reduces the savings versus earlier $1 to $2 per pound pricing.
Country-of-origin labeling can be unclear for ground beef, which can make origin questions harder to resolve before ordering.
The item can be unavailable or return to stock unpredictably, which can block same-day delivery plans.

USDA doesn't require companies to disclose country of origin. That said, plenty of countries outside the US that have good beef...and plenty in the US with bad beef.

Like I already said, China did refuse to buy Argentina meat and they could still be rejecting certain shipments..The US media will air what their owners want them to report. If 50,000 pounds of meat was rejected , then I'm sure it wasn't an isolated issue. No need to respond.
ps. By definition, "currently" is not March 2026.
1. How did you get the 50% off from that $1.99 deal to make it even cheaper?
2. What's up with your fuzzy math there? $2.99 shipping on a $2.99 product doesn't make it $4 per lb…
Like telling you In-laws that you have special dietary issues and can't eat x food at the gathering because it causes severe digestive issues that your doctor has been warning you about. 😉😉
