I don't really understand the point of these devices that are for "travel." Like you have to bring the cord anyway. What's the difference? Just plug it into your device while on vacation.

I kinda do agree with ya but the use case for this would be to charge a compatible phone and wireless buds at same time with one cord.

I would get a larger one then with active cooling.

There's no point of these wireless chargers to be small if you aren't taking them with you. The smaller they are, the harder for heat to dissipate.

Some of us still have the cold cable and usbc. But this works on both

150+ reviews and no complaints about heat dissipation for this product. You have a reference for this one getting hot? Or just assuming?

While I prefer active cooling on Qi, a lot of people don't keep their phones for 5-10 years and flash LineageOS onto them and keep using them after that.

So... I understand the popularity. You put it in your travel bag with a small AC adapter, and when not in use it's also a MagSafe kickstand.

This isn't going to get hotter than a standard 25W charger. A lot of us are starting to prefer active cooling, especially if you plan to keep your phone indefinitely and not upgrade until it fails.
