This is great budget phone for the value from the A series. I have Tmobile and was able to get it to work but then it stopped working so ymmv on that. This does not require active service for 365.... just time duration so that is a plus as a spare phone.

PS...keep an on the samsung a11 tablet for 20 deal if that pops up as that's a great deal combined with a line offer.

I think it was the first time they did it so can't predict if they'll repeat or was inventory clearing etc........... your within Black Friday deals so keep an eye but I don't know if it will repeat at that price.

Check your Capital One perks. I recently grabbed a free phone from Metro and got $21 back by using my Capital One card.

Is the 365 days active service, or 365 days from activation? That gap is roughly a year of plan payments.

Most MVNO's have changed the wording to 365 Active service days so making those phone deals only deals worthless if you dont plan on staying with them and paying for service. Metro's wording from what I read online still states after 365 vs active service for that duration. Fingers crossed and hoping that its grandfathered even if they change that wording.

Here is a video that does comparison of a few A series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQtCiQfQMUI&t=9s

Basically as I noted the A37 is great value for the money esp at the $40 in this deal.

My S23 ultra received a last update to V17. Saw this phone is going to get updates till 2032. So grabbed a backup phone for$40, no complaints.

this is a quote from Metro's unlock policy on their website..."Three hundred sixty-five (365) days must have passed since the device's activation date."
