You've never had a TEXAS sized Donut before??

I think it was Winchell's donuts that had them...and I'm sure that many also do make them...perhaps even your local shop makes 'em?

Nope. Never heard of it. I don't know what a Winchell's is. Before our local place came, most of our donuts came from the grocery or Walmart. If we were out of town...Dunkin Donuts. Thank God for the local place.....that I must stay away from.

I remember having them in South Carolina ...and I thought out in CA as well...this is a Winchell's...

I'm pretty sure I had them as a kid in South Carolina...but I just did a google search and all I get are Dunkin Dounuts and Krispy Kreeme...I guess it was a local one-off donut store Frown

To me...the KK are very over-rated...it's like you are buying frosted "air" and not much donut.

In HighSchool...I found out about old-fashioned...they are much more dense cake then the typical donut and I'd say are the polar opposites of a KK donut.
