My house is almost ready for the 5 day weekend. I just hope it stays clean enough for FIL's girlfriend. I need to scrub our half bathroom and forbid the boys to enter.
Grandpa just called and informed me that we're not exchanging gifts with my SIL's IL's this year. (not that we've ever done that, but OK). They've invited Grandpa & our family to visit them in MO this summer. We've gone the past 2 summers and it's the highlight of our summer. SIL and her family will be staying in Slovenia next year and I think her IL's will be lonely.

I am thankful for you because you are a friend in every sense of the word. I love you so SO much. There has never been a time where I couldn't count on you. I have been able to text you when my son was in the hospital. I have been able to vent to you when my husband was a jerk. You have saved my butt in a technical sense more times than I can count. All of the stuff I watched you go through with your grandparents...you handled it with such strength and such grace and you have more character than I will ever have. You are who I want to be when I grow up. You are the classiest lady I know, and I am SO proud and SO grateful that you are my friend.
