I wouldn't blame you. I try to get out of peoples way. Even if they are the one blocking me, I just try go around them.
I don't like being to close to anyone anyhow. So I bail if the aisle gets too crowded. But these people who purposely stop, like they don't want to be able to see whatever it is they just saw. Bomb I would be ready to punch them too.
Well, I don't know why I like BF shopping so much because normally getting closed in like that freaks me out. Usually my husband runs interference for me but he got ADD today or something and was just wandering around. I was trying to get to somewhere where I could duck down and aisle and she was just ramming me. WTF? I couldn't go anywhere.

I would have definitely turned around and smacked her. Well maybe not laugh out loud But probably asked her WTF her problem was. That's why I refuse to go without my husband.. He knows I don't like people near me & he does the interfering for me too. Though I guess he has a case of ADD all the time, because every time I look up he is gone. Then he says I'm the one who walked away from him. yeah. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

OMG!!!!!!!! He'll do the same thing! And today, at Kmart, he goes down this aisle, so I follow. He stops to look at something so I keep walking then turn up the next aisle to go back up to the main aisle (he was with me, he only stopped for a second). He said, "There's nothing down here. Why did you come down here?!" I WAS FOLLOWING YOU!!!!! He said "I was following YOU!" How in the hell was that when you went down the aisle first? Were you using your psychic powers to see that I was GOING to come down here?

We really shouldn't shop together on 4 hours of sleep.

The hard drive went out on my son's computer. Facepalm He's devastated. He plays this game all.of.the.time. I don't know what it is, but it's a sniping game. Anyway, he also makes Youtube videos, makes graphics for people.....and in his SPARE time Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) does his homework. Here's hoping we can find a used one exceptionally cheap because we can't really afford a new one on top of Christmas. WHY NOW?!

If you have a budget for a new one, share it and we might be able to find a good deal on one.

And you said 'on top of Christmas'. How about 'for Christmas'?

Will be traveling to see my beloved Tigers play today. Meeting up with some college friends. Will be partaking of adult beverages all day. If it gets ugly may have to join 80,000 of my friends to protect some trees. Don't ask. Just start collecting the bail money for me.

Yeah, I'm looking at like $40. Robert's got a friend at work who works on computers on the side and we're hoping hoping hoping he's got an extra one we can buy off of him cheap. Doesn't mean he does. His Christmas is already done.

I've got $5 toward the bail collection. Wink

Wave Jenni

I had to get a new laptop because the motherboard on my Compaq Presario (I think c700) went 1 month after the waranty ran out. DH can get the hard drive out and you can have it if it will work with his computer. I feel your frustration....it seems they go right after the waranties run out. Let me know.

Let me ask my husband. It's a desktop and I don't know if they are interchangeable or anything about them. I am completely computer illiterate. COMPLETELY. It might not because I think he went to a desktop for a bigger HD, but what do I know? I appreciate it! That's really sweet of you! Smilie

AND THE WEEK DOESN'T END UNTIL TOMORROW SO:

Moooooot:
I am thankful for you because you have always been nice to me every time I have "spoken" to you. Smilie And obviously, you have a generous heart. You are quick to defend your friends and that kind of loyalty is admirable. Smilie

Jenni - You just made me smile. Thank you for noticing (and knowing) that I defend my friends...I have been trying to be a bit less harsh about it which I think gets a better reaction all the way around. I have a short fuse IRL with jerks sometimes and I admit it/DH is always on my case because I voice my opinions to strangers that deserve a kick in the butt....again, working on that because it's probably not worth it in most cases. I'm far from perfect, but I try to do the best I can.

Thank you for the kind words. I can feel your heart in everything that you said. You have always been nice to me also when we have had the chance to talk. Today was starting out kind of crappy but you just changed that. hug
One of my favorite quotes is by Maya Angelou - "Be a rainbow in someone else's cloud"

No problem with the hard drive. It's a shame that it's just sitting there with all other parts in great condition. If your DH says it will work let me know and I will have mine take it out and I will send it right out. Believe me.....I am so UNTECH it's to the point of sad LMAO That's what DH is for Evillaugh

I try to remember that before I speak and it ain't always easy. Wink If I made your day a little better for even a minute, then I'm glad. Smilie

Believe me, I get it. If my computer comes on when I hit the power button...it's a good day. laugh out loud

Jenni - what happens when you turn on your boy's computer? Blue-screen or what? There are a few things to try before you give it up as hopeless. It might not be the hard drive too, depending... gimme some details and I'll give you some ideas if you want. Although after I failed you on the coupon printer I'd understand if you don't trust my expertise... laugh out loud

He's not home, so I can't say 100% until he gets back, but I think he said something about a disk read error or something. He said it's been giving him error for days, and now it won't boot? He'll be home tomorrow. (He's staying at my mom's babysitting her dog while she's in GA.) I will talk to him later this afternoon though.

Ack. If it's "Disk Read Error" or some form of that - and that's all - that's kind of bad. You can do a little ground work & find a Windows install disk if you have one... you'll need it if this is the case...

There's an outside chance that a repair run from the Windows install disk can fix this. A slim chance... most of the time "disk read" type errors really do mean the hard drive is hosed. There are a couple of other small things you can try - including the freezer trick - but I want you to verify the error before we go down that road.

You should have someone pop the case open & look to make sure a cable isn't loose or anything but that's a really long shot... sorry Jenni but you are probably looking at a new hard drive at least here, and that data's likely gone unfortunately.
