And yeah, you should lift. Everybody should lift. I am going to lift today and I bet I can deadlift 250lbs now. And I am going to try to squat 225. Get a copy of Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe and get to work! Whip

I am adding more conditioning than just my 30 minutes on the elliptical... gonna start some HIIT training either on a treadmill or a running track.

Regardless though, AM, we Rock !

went to the gym for the first time last night. Ran/walked 2.1 miles and I'm down 3.4lbs in 10 days.

I'm getting there.


I have my first 2 5ks coming up in Sept.(Lady Speed Stick Nashville Women's Half Marathon & 5k) and October (Color Run)

Weird... "being a giant stress ball" doesn't qualify for points on Fitocracy. laugh out loud and I'm soooo close to leveling up!

Is today over yet? I just hope my crazy sister behaves herself and doesn't turn it into an exhibition of her children and their combined inability to not be the center of attention and that my Dad doesn't make a complete ass out of himself in front of my friends and my priest at church. Pray

All things considered, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Roll

We *only* forgot the urn of ashes in the back of my dad's car because he refused to let the funeral director take them to the ceremony. Doh We had to backtrack 10 minutes back to the church to pick Granny up. On the way back to the church my nephew threw up all over the back seat of my van. LMAO We had to go by my house (another 10 min out of the way), clean up the car as best we could and get him dressed in some of BT's clothes.

We were *only* 10 minutes late to the cemetery. Where they don't let you have the ceremony if you're late. Shocking But since the rest of our party headed there without us we weren't penalized.

My family is a mess. laugh out loud
