For real? You're that close? I don't know my schedule yet, but will put mission Chinese on my list! I'm arriving on a Sunday and leaving on Tuesday.

Come with me!!! I'm excited about going all by myself, but I'd love to have a friend tag along. I thought one of my buddies would go with me, but her husband freaked at the airfare. Since we're so close to the dates and they JUST NOW let me know the trip dates for sure, we couldn't book in advance. DH can't go either. Too late to change the schedule. Oh well!
Well, on the plus side, at least there won't be any kids!!!!!!!

I went with my sister to see Rock of Ages today. It was awesome.

yeah. its close enough for day trips. i have to do it all the time to pick up family. they feel like flying to sfo instead of nearby. family and family friends have been in sf and area for ages.. so very familiar with the area.

mark twain's quote: "The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco"

the fog really makes a difference in the temps. if you're in the sun, its very warm. i took the girls to a giants game (AWESOME stadium if you like baseball) but it was in the sun. we were dying cause we dressed for a typical sf day. when are you going?

:sighofrelief:

I just sent my letter of resignation to my boss.

It's been a long two weeks. Every time I brought up wanting to leave my boss, the president of our company, or the freakin' owner would call me and ask me what I need in order to stay. Great problem to have right? laugh out loud

We finally had "the talk" (seriously when I talked with the owner the first time it was like breaking up with a girlfriend - and the only experience I have from this side of that transaction is from when I was in HS, she lived across the street from me, and the way I told her we were done was to hide when she came over to walk to school together). Anyway.

So I did what they asked & made a list. Three things: work from home, a raise, and they pay for a couple of certification boot camp type classes. They told me we're losing money so it's basically no, no, and no. LMAO Well that made it easy!

Even then they said "wait until Monday." Meanwhile the place that offered me a job is tapping their foot, "um VQ are you going to make a decision this month?"

So I think I'm done. Finally. Now to work two weeks and then straight to the new job with no time in between (since I played this out so long with my current job). Sigh.

So I thought I felt something crawl down my knee on the side.

I was like "Holy shit a spider!" and then I looked and at first was like "Holy shit, there it is!" but then I realized it was just a freckle and there wasn't ever any spider. Then I was like "Holy shit, when did I get a freckle there and why did it feel like a spider? Huh"
