I don't 100% remember the fix, but it was something like this. See if they have an app and install it.
Go to the home screen, instead of Android Auto, hit the home button on the unit, then pick something different, like Screen Mirroring. If you didn't find the app earlier, it will show a QR code to download their app. Then in the app menus it will then prompt you to apply an update. Once I updated, the unit has been solid.

I printed a custom CD mount but it bent/warped in June because of heat. I'm going to print one with metal rods or plate inside. Definitely want something like this 10-11" screen in my old car, especially with 1080p clear backup camera that also has DVR.

Install was fairly simple, it's nice they provide everything needed.
However I turned my car on, the device turned on but was having issues with the sound. like a static noise or almost a dial up noise lol.
I didn't even attempt any firmware or update on it. I didn't want to fight with it.
I was lucky enough to already have a usb/aux Bluetooth module that was bel to just stream sound from device to Bluetooth bypassing the aux jack sound. And it's clear now.
