This Costco MacBook Pro deal pairs the 14.2 inch M5 model with 16GB memory and 1TB storage at $1,349.99, with free shipping, a two per member limit, and Costco's 90 day computer return window plus a second year of warranty. The price undercuts Apple's $1,999 tag and sits below the newly launched M6 version, making it especially attractive for buyers who want Pro ports and the better screen. The main hesitation is 16GB RAM, which feels tight for heavy multitasking, Teams, local AI, or development work. It is a strong value for everyday use and storage hungry buyers.

  • Costco's 90-day return window can reduce risk if the M6 version inventory changes after purchase.

    freshsqueezedT3QN1K

  • 16GB RAM can be sufficient for office work, web browsing, and light Python or photo/video editing workloads.

    Capetotxpyro

  • The 1TB configuration can support users who want more local storage without stepping up to higher-RAM tiers immediately.

    Capetofreshsqueezed

  • The deal can be honored in-store with an app stock check, Apple booth ticket, and merchandise pickup workflow.

    TheDoDeals

  • 16GB RAM can feel limiting under heavier multitasking, which may lead to disk swapping during everyday use.

    fintlewoodlewixFrshh23

  • Order placement can fail when the checkout screen freezes, and some orders can be cancelled shortly after submission.

    BlNG0Capeto

  • Office apps can trigger memory pressure, and Teams performance can be poor on this class of configuration.

    a_land

  • Intermittent freezing can occur on Apple Silicon MacBook Pro models, including M1 Pro configurations.

I had the same, but ultimately was able to place the order with the ship to and pickup from store option. I also changed the credit card I was using, but my money is on the pickup option.
Cancellation email from costco just came through.

I had the M1/8GB RAM macbook air 13 and it handled my productivity tasks just fine. 16GB is enough for 90% of the population with normal use, unless you have 100+ tabs open with VM's running, etc.

For 1350 it's absolutely fine. For a good local llm you need atleast 128gb. Get this for 1350 and get Claude or gpt subscription for 20/month. Rather than buying 32gb for 2-3k.
or Copilot free with your 365 subscriptions, to a certain extent.

Deal works in the warehouse too. Was able to check for stock in the app, go to the Apple booth and get a ticket, pay at the register and get it at Merchandise Pickup 🙌

Costco is periodically adding more inventory. Was able to snag a black MBP constantly refreshing the page.
