Ditto, the Escalante is excellent, after I retired mine, I still use them as walking/travel/casual shoes several years later.
Typical disclaimer: not as much cushioning as you get with the massive Hoka models; and zero drop, which bothers some people, especially if you like a raised heel.
The racer just takes that a little further, but it's like wearing nothing at all (nothing at all....nothing at all....)
