I know that we've been inundated with Pixel 11 deals, but this one stands out for being both free of charge (less a one-time $40 fee) and free of trade in or line upgrade requirements. It's also something I was actually able to use myself- I feel like I usually miss out on these select offers, but this one worked for me. When I went to pick up my new phone the customer service rep said she was seeing a lot of people take advantage of this deal.

I believe you can use this promo on the base Pixel 11 or the Pro 256GB, but unless you're picky about colors there's no reason not to go for at least the Pro 512GB. I also think it's possible to use this promo for a substantial discount on the Pro XL or Fold, if those are more to your taste.

This phone is free through a monthly credit that counteracts its monthly payment. If you cancel your Verizon line within three years, the phone's remaining balance will become due. This is not a good deal for anyone planning to terminate their Verizon service in that timespan.

Has anyone taken a deal like this before? Any issues?

I usually buy unlocked elsewhere because I hate giving carriers more money, but I'm seeing a Pixel 11 Pro 256GB for $0/month after credits for 36 months, with no plan change.

I understand I'd owe the balance if I left early. Any other catches, like a hard credit check or fees? Looks like a free phone, but I'm skeptical.

No catch other than being tied to Verizon for the next three years unless you're willing to pay off the remaining balance before leaving.

$40 upgrade fee
$90 in OH sales tax
Thanks op.
Been rocking this 7XL for far too long!

I believe these Verizon pixels do not have an unlockable bootloader, even after paying off the device.

Do I have to use this phone for 3 years or can I switch the line to a different phone and still receive bill credits?
