The old thread for them did not give me the feeling that I would get them easily so good for you and fighting hard for them! worship I was a wimp and let them expire. Frown When I read your post, I was hoping for a second that there was some way to still get credit for them at this point.

Sorry for the rant, but I've been so angry that I haven't even been able to talk about it, and now that this has happened, I'm close to going over the edge, and he has alot of colleagues and friends as my FB friends, so I can't really talk about it on FB. Mad So farking angry at him right now. Mad:mad :

hug I can understand our concern. Do you have a backup plan? I know you have spoken of not having much support there. Try to spend your frustration on a back up plan just in case. That might ease your pain a little. I will pray that he will be there when the time is right. hug

I would show that to DH and see if he is ok with it. I know sometimes we get very caught up with it being perfect. I did too and sometimes I need to just say good enough and relieve the stress. In other words is the stress worth it? If not, order. No one will know the difference in the end.

Hi everybody!

I don't like Lily's hand in that picture either, other then that the picture is great. I have to say that I can't wait to watch little Lily grow. I have this gut feeling that we will be hearing some amazing things about her. So far in all of the pictures I've seen of her, she seems so alert and wise (i guess for lack of a better word) Even in this picture the way she has her fingers spread wide open, I don't know it just doesn't seem like she's you usual sleepy newborn. I guess thats what I'm trying to say. She seems older then just a few days and has a very wise look about her. I bet she is going to be a early talker! and I can't wait to hear what she has to say Smilie

Okay...I am trying something new...who knows why? I bought a bag of dried black beans and soaked them overnight. They I was like...now what? So, I threw them in a pot with some spices, onions, garlic, green peppers and some water and have it boiling...I hope it turns out edible...but my guess is that it will be intersting.

Does anyone use dried black beans in anything? I was trying to avoid the sodium for DH, but I might just try rinsing canned next time!

Hey guys! Wave Momma Junie and I took Lily to her 5 day appt today. She is more jaundice than she was, so we had to get her heel poked to test her. I am waiting to hear back from the dr's now to know the level. He does want her to be in sunlight, (nekkid in a bouncer) through a window, for 10 mins a couple times a day. So we will do that until we know more.
I weighed myself today (using the same scale I have throughout the pregnancy) and I am down below my pre preggo weight! Yahoo! It's only 1 pound less, but it makes me happy! I had only gained 13 pounds from my pregnancy, so I lost 14 pounds so far. Most of that was Lily (8 lb baby), but I hope to work off some more when I can! Smilie

Heart Thanks dear! She is so dang alert! Way more than any other kids I have been around! I love it! Its so nice to get done nursing her and watch just take in her whole world. Smilie

Knott you did great .. have you ever cooked dried beans before??? (any kind) but here is a website that has a few recipes for dried beans... for when you want to make something else Big Grin
