=======================================================================================
There are three types of Shutterfly coupon codes:

1 - Account Codes - Shutterfly adds a code to your account and, depending on your email preferences, emails you to alert you to the offer. This is not transferable - the offer is tied to that Shutterfly account.

Make sure you tell Shutterfly to email you and you won't miss any deals. If you find deals in your account that you did not see in email - check your preferences.

* Go to My Shutterfly
* Go to the bottom and click on Personal Info/Settings
* Click on change under Email Preferences
* Make sure that the first box is checked
* Save now

A recent development in the Shutterfly world, probably in response to all the selling on eBay and trading on forums like this, where the offer code is emailed to the customer AND they have to add it to their account - it is not always added automatically by Shutterfly. The codes are typically 6-8 characters and look exactly like the shareable codes -- but they will only work on the accounts that Shutterfly chose to email this offer to.

2 - Shareable Codes - Shutterfly has some codes that are offered to affiliates/partners. These coupons can be shared and used in multiple accounts (once per account). Examples of what these codes look like are NMSA-XXXX or WIXXER09.

3 - Unique One time use codes - Shutterfly also offers one time use codes, typically they are 18 alphanumeric characters long, that come with special offers. These codes may be emailed to you or included in a printed card when you get a Shutterfly shipment. They may be won via Shutterfly contests. They may come from Shutterfly or from partner offers. Often times you can see these codes being sold on eBay. Examples of what these codes look like XXXX-7H9P-EBFX-V39VEC.

===============================================================================================
Membership/Frequent Flier Programs
If you participate in these you may be able to get rebates or bonuses:

* Upromise - shop thru link and get 7% in your account - they often have other discounts as well
* eebates you can get a percentage of your order value credited (The program eebates has one less e, but if you type the real name this site will block it)
* Discover reward cards also give 5% back on shutterfly.com purchases when you shop thru their link - also you can use your Discover Cash Back to get $25 gift card to shutterfly for only $20 (comes in the mail - not instant)
* Northwest World Perks - earn 2 miles per $ when shop thru link on world perk website

Kate and I are in a real battle with Words with Friends. I took a commanding lead, and she'd catch up and on occasion would be beating me by a point or two. Then I would find a miracle word and she would again be behind by 50+. We are at the end of our game now, and after a big-time comeback (64 points by spelling felt) I was down by 9. I am now up by 16 and I have a guaranteed 4 points left. So with a commanding 20 point lead, I'm not sure she will be able to come back. But we are both approaching the 400 point threshold... which makes this one of the more intriguing games of Words with Friends I have played.

The final score was 397 to 396. But I did have 7 points waiting in the wings. So she need at least 9 more points to win.

I think a break from wwf is warranted.

CODE IN BLOG:

http://blog.swagbucks.com/

The NBA Playoffs have already seen some upsets – Memphis over San Antonio? The Hawks toppling the Magic? Tough to call, I know, so TSG's putting the guessing on you – via codes!

I'm putting both matchups for tonight here in Swag code form – you can only redeem ONE code per matchup. The codes are worth 3 Swag Bucks each, and you have until 4:15pm PT (one hour from now) to redeem them. Let's see how well you can pick 'em!

BostonCeltic... OR MiamiHeat...

Grizzlies... OR Thunder...

Crazy day today! It is the last day of school for my DD and she has a choir concert this afternoon. I have a doctors appointment (which is the glucose test so I have to stay for an hour) and then somehow get the dog to boarding because we going to Tennessee for two week tomorrow and we have a very early flight. I am hoping that at my inlaws I can rest and sleep and I will worry about the house when I get back.
Hope it all went well and that you enjoy your trip!!!

just caught up a bit and i'm dying to try that new layout that ariel said there is for books... i have a free 7x9 or wahtever it is...i might do an advice book for the shower, or a few words to the baby... something like that. : P

I'm so tired today... grrrrr! And my shopping has taken a back seat to all of my planning, so now i need food. :doh : so an expensive trip to the market tonight is on the agenda- that's always fun. NOT.
I am telling you, I really love the new layouts! heart

I hate it when that happens! I have had some expensive grocery trips lately as well! Frown

Quote from zmmorgan :
My work update - my boss's wife did decide to sell the pharmacy so we have been working hard the last 6 weeks to work out a contract with a buyer and we finally got the deal done two weeks ago. We announced last week that the pharmacy has sold to Hy-Vee (grocery chain store in our area) and the take-over will happen June 13th. The good news for me is I will be hired at my current wage. Some of the benefits aren't as good as we had before, but they still are fairly good and at least I have a job! My job duties will change significantly but we aren't really sure what they will be yet. Our pharmacist will manage the pharmacy area and I will manage the gift ware and over the counter area of the store & the employees that work there. The store will not move so that is a huge relief as it would have been a big pain in the butt to do that. So anyway, that's the latest! I'm not sure if I will get to see you guys as much during the day, but we'll see...........
I hope the new company will work out well! You will be GREATLY missed while you are busy, but we totally understand! hug

Quote from Kootz :
Sorry for the mixed emotions on Mom's Day. I know how you feel somewhat...

Thanks hun! That is good info!

Hey guys! I just saw all this. I will try to get it done tonight. My big computer is still on I just need to finish up a few things.
Thanks for the steps on how to do it dear!! hug

Lily had her 2 week check up today! She is doing good! She gained 1 lb and is 1 inch longer than 8 days ago! She is an amazing nurser, so it doesn't surprise me how much she gained back! laugh out loud She is doing so well! I hate to even say it or type this (for fear of cursing myself) but she only cries when she needs something. This is a HUGE change from Sophia who cried ALL THE TIME! She doesn't even cry really when she is hungry, just makes a little calling out to me and then I nurse her. Its such a nice change! I hope she stays this way!

So while I was at the Dr's today, I weighed myself. I am down another 11 pounds (25 down since I had her Whee), which puts me 12 pounds less than I was before I got pregnant. I always lose lots of weight while breastfeeding, hope I can keep it off for a while this time!

I had to google "Words with Friends"! Shows you that I'm living with an ancient cell phone and won't pay for internet! Sounds like a fun game though!

Hang in there - it will be over soon and hopefully you'll have lots of spending money for your cruise after the garage sale is over!

I wanted to thank you all for the prayers for my friend Kellie. She went to an endocrinologist for further testing & to discuss treatment options. The MRI came out clean and when they ran her labs there it showed no abnormalities whatsoever. After some investigation they figured out that when she was having her labs drawn in her hometown they were sending them to a different lab than the endocrinologist used and that lab must have had a problem with their machine! All the labs that showed problems were ran at one lab and the endocrinologist used two different labs just to make sure and they both came out just fine. So, she will not have to deal with the pituitary tumor as originally thought!!! That was certainly an answer to our prayers for her, so thank you again!

She also got a bit of good news today (well, it can be viewed as good & bad) - the biological mother of the two babes they are fostering and hoping to adopt has agreed to voluntarily terminate her parental rights rather than have the state spend months taking them away (she hasn't actually signed the termination yet though). This would move their status to adoption in just a few months. However, the grandmother of the children has decided she might want to try for custody of them. So there are still lots of ways their case could go, but the termination of the mother's rights is a step in the direction to getting these babes into a safe, forever family. It is such an unpredictable road and I look up to her very much for doing everything to fight for the best interest of these babes.

Sup ladies. I'm about 6 months from a new hardware purchase for my camera. I'm either going to replace the body, or a lens, or both. Having said that... does anyone own the Canon 60D? It's between that one and the T3i... but I have played around with the T3i and it just has a similar feel as my XS. It kills me to spend a ton of cash and not have a substantial upgrade. It would be like trading in a 2005 Camaro for a 2011. Sure it is new and it is nicer, but why even bother getting a new car if it is going to be about the same. For a few bucks more, getting the Corvette which has a performance and quaility bump up just seems to make more sense.

I guess the good news is that I have 6 months to mull over the decision, but I am really having a hard time with it. Especially since I know the lenses make a huge difference in photo quality, and I can afford getting a new lens and keeping the XS, but I don't want to have the XS be so incredibly outdated when I sell it in 2012. I already have 2 buyers at $350, which is great considering that is just a little less than what I paid for it when I bought it.

Anyone want to mentor me on this? I have a spreadsheet with all of my options, and none of the options are 100% satisfying.
I would probably go for the lens or 60D. I have the 50D and I love love love it! It is a lot faster for sports than my XT was. To me the only positive the T3i has over the 60D(besides the price!) is that it is lighter to carry around.

Yeah for winning Bunco! Sorry to hear you didn't like your hair and read later that you got it re-done. Hope it will work for you now that you got it re-done. Sounds like a busy week and a half ahead of you! Just think of all the fun you will have come next Friday when you get on the cruise!

I see Tina helped you out. Sounds like you are getting ready to make something yummy! Is it a special occasion?

Yikes, that is busy! Hope things go well for you today!

:yummy:

Thanks for the well wishes. Yes, I am pretty positive about it. Mostly my thought is that my boss treated me so well and I was very lucky to have worked for him for the last 5 years. I know what it is to have a great job & boss and it will certainly give me high standards for any future positions. I truly believe this is the best thing for his wife. Trying to run this place combined with trying to deal with the loss of her husband all the while her pregnant daughter who is the mother of two is splitting from her husband so has needed her to babysit 4 nights a week from 7 pm to 7 am has been too much for her. This store has been her life for the last 30 years and even though it will be hard for her to let it go it really is the best thing for her. She is still going to be working here, just will be less hours and much less stress. In my opinion the employees owe it to John (the deceased boss) to stand by her during this time. The best choices in life aren't always the choices that benefit you personally the most - sometimes they are the choices necessary to benefit someone else you care about.

:iagree:
You are just one awesome lady!! :hug:

I have the canon 60d. It was such a tough decision, but I really like it.

I'm not very good at WwF..but I keep trying.

For the record, I HATE doing garage sales. I'm tired of messing with this crap!
I hate garage sales so much! I never seem to make much off of them either. Well truthfully I have only done two that I can remember and one was while I was still living at home and one was a family one. I just take all my stuff to good will.

Lily had her 2 week check up today! She is doing good! She gained 1 lb and is 1 inch longer than 8 days ago! She is an amazing nurser, so it doesn't surprise me how much she gained back! :lol: She is doing so well!

I am down another 11 pounds (25 down since I had her :whee:), which puts me 12 pounds less than I was before I got pregnant. I always lose lots of weight while breastfeeding, hope I can keep it off for a while this time!
Your welcome!

I am glad Miss Lily is such a good baby!! I think you have to have a tough one so you will fully appreciate the easy ones. Wtg on the weight loss!!

I would probably go for the lens or 60D. I have the 50D and I love love love it! It is a lot faster for sports than my XT was. To me the only positive the T3i has over the 60D(besides the price!) is that it is lighter to carry around.
Last year before Christmas, there were some crazy deals on 60D bodies along with a freeish 55-250 or 70-300. So my plan is to be patient and wait, then sell my current DSLR, and whatever bonus lens I get. I've worked out the math, and things will work out perfectly, but I probably have to live without a wide angle for a while. Though I think I am going to save up for the 15-85 which I hear good things about.

It is a shame. Sony has some crazy freaking rebates on their DSLR cameras. If the place I worked sold those cameras, I'd probably buy it at cost ($1900) and then get an $1100 rebate. And they have lens rebates too, something like 900 off an 1800 lens. The quality issue doesn't really hold, but if you presume comparable prices and comparable quality, that is like getting a 7D and a L series lens (a good one), for $1700. But Sony is an electronics company... not a camera company. It would be like buying a Samsung vehicle because they do a good job with their tv's. But we all know that buying a Honda even though it may cost more is still the way to go.
