Larry and I have made a heartwrenching decision tonight. My poor boy has not been well lately and it's come to the point that we can't get him to eat much nor take his pills. Most of the time he is sleeping or legs and back hurting while he is awake

All Dogs Go to Heaven and Bialy will be there Monday once we have a few more days with him. We are having it done at our house where he will be hugged and loved forever...

The next few days will be spent giving lots of love and taking lots of pics.

The strange thing is that Monday is the date my dad died. I never put 2 and 2 together until an hour ago.

My dad died in 1995 and Bialy was born in 1995. They will both share the same date in death. I know my dad will take good care of him for me.
I'm so so so sorry--many prayers will be said for all of you this weekend and in the coming weeks. Just please prepare your mind for the fact that whichever room you decide to let him rest in for the last time will be a reminder for a long time. We did this with our Scotty back in 1999 and it took me a long time to look at the kitchen area quite the same again.

You know my GrKids have foster puppies again, right? Well, last week the local SPCA posted on their FB page here that they needed a foster home for a 3-mo-old female mini Schnauzer. I called but she had already gotten a foster home. I didn't know whether to be relieved or disappointed.

So sorry to hear about your fur-babe. I've had some catching up to do. My back went out and ...irony of irony ...it is super painful to sit at the computer. I've been jonesin' for some on-line time but not enough to sit through the pain. Right now I'm doing a very awkward laying on my back trying to type on the side.
