These codes may be used once per account. The use of account specific codes in your account if you did not receive an email from SF is at your own risk and YMMV.
See full explanation of the three types of Shutterfly codes further down the WIKI.

=======================================================================================
There are three types of Shutterfly coupon codes:

1 - Account Codes - Shutterfly adds a code to your account and, depending on your email preferences, emails you to alert you to the offer. This is not transferable - the offer is tied to that Shutterfly account.

Make sure you tell Shutterfly to email you and you won't miss any deals. If you find deals in your account that you did not see in email - check your preferences.

* Go to My Shutterfly
* Go to the bottom and click on Personal Info/Settings
* Click on change under Email Preferences
* Make sure that the first box is checked
* Save now

A recent development in the Shutterfly world, probably in response to all the selling on eBay and trading on forums like this, where the offer code is emailed to the customer AND they have to add it to their account - it is not always added automatically by Shutterfly. The codes are typically 6-8 characters and look exactly like the shareable codes -- but they will only work on the accounts that Shutterfly chose to email this offer to.

2 - Shareable Codes - Shutterfly has some codes that are offered to affiliates/partners. These coupons can be shared and used in multiple accounts (once per account). Examples of what these codes look like are NMSA-XXXX or WIXXER09.

3 - Unique One time use codes - Shutterfly also offers one time use codes, typically they are 18 alphanumeric characters long, that come with special offers. These codes may be emailed to you or included in a printed card when you get a Shutterfly shipment. They may be won via Shutterfly contests. They may come from Shutterfly or from partner offers. Often times you can see these codes being sold on eBay. Examples of what these codes look like XXXX-7H9P-EBFX-V39VEC.

===============================================================================================
Membership/Frequent Flier Programs
If you participate in these you may be able to get rebates or bonuses:

* Upromise - shop thru link and get 7% in your account - they often have other discounts as well
* eebates you can get a percentage of your order value credited (The program eebates has one less e, but if you type the real name this site will block it)
* Discover reward cards also give 5% back on shutterfly.com purchases when you shop thru their link - also you can use your Discover Cash Back to get $25 gift card to shutterfly for only $20 (comes in the mail - not instant)
* Northwest World Perks - earn 2 miles per $ when shop thru link on world perk website
* United Mileage Plus - earn 3 miles per $ when shop thru link on mileage plus website
* Delta Sky Miles - earn 10 miles per $ when shop thru link (plus earn 1000 miles until 12/31 when you spend $20 or more - see link at Sky Miles for more details)

Good morning. Here is to hoping that our men are not so stressful today! I am hoping for a great nap.
Any luck on that one!! With the men thing. I had a long nap today

Quote from chrrrrris :
I think they expire already in a month so not a long time to use them. Katie says they are AMAZING and is really excited to get more of them. I got a lot of the smoothies with the free q last year but haven't bought one since. laugh out loud It was good but not that good to pay lots for it.

I really was not impressed with the frozen lemonade thing. But free is free..

Kootz and Larry, You both are in my thoughts today. You have loved Bialy and he has loved you back. May he rest in peace. He has earned it by his steadfast love of you both.hearthugheart

Because it is sent to specific emails and it isn't cool people printing six at a time. Not to mention, there really isn't anything in the store that is less than $10 that is worth while.

What do you want to know? First and foremost, you need to choose between Nikon and Canon. After than, you need to chose entry level, T3, or step up, T2i or T3i. All have video, so that's not something to worry about, but the t2i and t3i are better with the t3i being good enough better that people comment how much better it is.

Or, you can join the club which I will enter soon, and get a 60d.

If anything, you don't want to buy from Best Buy because you have to pay tax. If you buy from B&H, you can get additional software and you don't have to pay tax. Or you can wait a day or two for Amazon and then they will probably match if not beat the price.
Quote from jdramirez :
Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18MP 3.0" 1.04M LCD Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens for $671.99 with free shipping.

For 80 bucks difference, I say the T2i is a better value than the t3i.

Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18MP 3" LCD Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens for $755.99 with free shipping.

But for the 80 bucks more, you get an articulating screen and I find personally that it is so worth the extra jump in price for me. It also has built in slave flash support, but you often don't get cheap flashes with radio flash control. And the nicer ones (flashes), which are definitely worth getting, usually run about $400 and are not at the top of people to get list.
Ok have to say I did get the best buy one not sure what B&H is? I went with the canon T2i. Figured that was enough camera for a noob, I didn't see enough difference for the T3i although I would have like that articulating screen there is also the chance that I might break it. The tax was bad ($50) but I'm hoping to help that out with my 5% back on my discover card. I guess what I really need to know is what else do I need? I did go and buy another lens from that thread that I think I saw you commenting in. I hear people talking about other things they have but I'm not sure how much of it's necessary? Filters? Cards? etc

Give me a budget, and I'll tell you what you need.

You did get a very nice camera by the way. It may be discontinued in the near future, but it is a solid performer.

My budget as of yesterday is pretty small. I would spend to get what I need to start taking decent pics of the kids though. Not going on any big trip so I think I might be ok not buying an extra battery right away. I would like to space out the spending a little.

Tripod: 20 to 30 bucks.

http://www.amazon.com/Vista-Explo...925&sr=1-1
http://www.amazon.com/Dolica-ST-5...022&sr=1-2

UV filter... basically one to protect your lens. If you drop it, it is much better to lose the filter than the lens.

http://www.amazon.com/Tiffen-58mm...=pd_cp_p_2

small pen cleaner to clean your lens.

http://www.meritline.com/showprod...iew-mirror

Cap keeper so you don't lose your lens cap:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...PDKIKX0DER

Class 10 SD card by Sandisk. Some 2nd tier cards don't work with the T2i. I forget which ones, but it's important.

4 GB:

http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-30M...526&sr=1-1

8 GB:

http://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ext...526&sr=1-4

And finally the most important thing... a book explaining the camera. The book is specific to the camera and I like to think that makes a difference.

http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Rebel...-1-catcorr

It will be about 70 bucks total give or take.
