this year, a little skimpier i think
I'm dying to show off my bunny teeth for my halloween costume!
But I did have a guy ask 4 or 5 questions before I finally had to tell him to ask my husband his next question
I try to avoid it, but sometimes it's necessary (so I try to limit it to when it's *really* necessary). Now, maybe there are some good sets out there--I know some dentists make custom vampire teeth and maybe those fit better--but the few sets I've worn were painful and wouldn't stay put despite "custom fitting" the inner soft plastic layer and whatever kinds of adhesive they used. (And normally I'm pretty good with adhesives, at least where the rest of my body is involved.)
I wonder what Fuzzbutt thinks of my bunny teeth

Besides, I figure knowing your limits is an important piece of personal information. A lot of people (maybe most) don't get along so well with adhesives, appliances, and the chemicals used to get them off again--John Rhys-Davies, for example, when he played Gimli in Lord of the Rings reacted so badly that he could stay in makeup for no more than four hours at a time. (Quite the problem when it often takes that long to get _into_ makeup.)
Here's one that is a little more adhesive-intensive; you use all sorts of glues and goos to put something like this on, because you generally want to use different types of adhesives around the eyes and near the mouth than you'd use on the rest of the head:
Bruce Campbell was doing a book-signing in town while I was in this outfit only a mile or so from where I was, so I wandered down Broadway in costume to take advantage:
But one of these days, definitely going to do the vampire thing....
That's awesome.
Some pictures at home I took by getting a wired remote for the camera and putting a self-stick rubber foot on the button, so I could set it on the floor and operate it by pressing it with my toe. There's probably a better way to do it, but at least in this digital age, I can fire off a few shots and hope that one turned out without worrying about the cost of film.
That's awesome.
