Doing better. Got my 11th bag of antibiotics today. They unwrapped it and it looks better. It's still bruised but not quite as swollen (TWSS).

Tired today. Ready to go home. Talked to work again today. I have a great boss but being a big company they have rigid sets of HR rules. If I am out past tomorrow I will have to go on FMLA which is a pain because they shut down your access to everything temporarily. It will be a headache when I go back. If I can get the doc to agree to half days I may not have to go on FMLA.

I haven't seen the wound doc yet today. He mentioned possibly going home tomorrow, but didn't sound too optimistic.

Yeah, that would be nice, but it's hard for me to. Work has been crazy busy (you'll start seeing commercials for some big stuff that I worked on) and my group is short handed. I also wanted to save some vacation days for around the holidays.

Eh, what happens happens I guess. At least it looks like I won't lose the toe.

The job will be there when you've healed. Your co-workers will understand. They might bitch, but they'll understand. You can go on vacation next year. Stress makes the healing process take longer. Relax, read something, surf teh interwebs, don't think about work.
