i also dunno if she sells them after. i did find out she does consign her kids clothes. she was actually selling them for more money than i paid for them Teehee. or she gives the clothes to her friends. at one point bff was interested if she would bring them back to the US when they got too small laugh out loud!

i think her sister buys romance novels from half.com. will look into it for next time. she is leaving on saturday afternoon so her sister will order w/ amazon prime this time so she can take them home or else she won't have room in her luggage for stuff next time.

she will next be here for thanksgiving w/ her kids. i already have clothing for them but want them to try it on. she already wants a 64G ipod but we convinced her on saturday to wait till black friday deals. my 14 yr old nephew is going to be my black friday shopping buddy and we already plan to be at superwalmart at midnite.

all the borders in this area are long gone even b4 they declared bankruptcy. didn't even know. they just quietly closed. i think the bankruptcy just liquidated the last stores left.

It's not lead. It's the topcoat that's peeling. Definitely latex. And I'm not sanding paint, sanding joint compound, some with latex on it but not down to anything that might be lead.

I went to town to get my papers, go to the library and take the dogs to the lake and just don't feel very good. Got sick to my stomach while in town. Totally crazy. I for one will be glad when the temp. drops again. I liked having the windows open constantly. This near-90 bizness is just yuck-o. It had dd complaining during the walk home from school @ 11 AM and mind you it probably wasn't 80 or so by then. At least the humidity doesn't seem too horrible.

The pool is done so for the most part I don't care; other than it signals winter is coming. Now, if we would just stay nice fall until next spring, then ok. We are going north fishing again the last week of the month. I hope the nice weather holds out and if the extended forecast is accurate, it's looking pretty good.

thanks gg. i checked half.com for all the titles while i put together the list for my second sil to order and have sent to my house. she's a power buyer b/c she's an office mgr and orders supplies from amazon as well as crap for her 2 sons.

there were only 2 titles available and only one was cheaper than amazon when shipping was factored in.

but now that we have broken my italy sil of the habit of buying dvd's full price and she's getting her entire list (b/c today i emailed her the amazon prices for the 4 dvd sets she bought at barnes and nobles yesterday and she probably had a quiet heart attack. and now she was willing to wait till thanksgiving to get the other 6), i will check half.com in the future when hopefully she gives me the list b4 she gets here.

hug hope you are feeling better soon! And woot for fall being right around the corner. I can't wait for cooler weather, and that sweet time between having to run the a/c, and having to use the heater. nod

After a year, finally got my son back into his specialist's office, only to spend 2 hours being criticized because concessions we've made for 5-7 YEARS are not what she thinks should be done. Nothing like paying to be told how incompetent a parent I am. Frown

Anyone have/ had a child under 10 that was on Celexa? PM response is fine. I have to make the decision as to whether I want him on meds, again, and whether risk of side effects would be balanced by a benefit from the meds. Zoloft did nothing except make him a zombie, Concerta helps a teeny bit but he has some other issues that the doctor feels would be better addressed by SSRI meds. *sigh*

setsail, haven't had a kid under 10 on celexa, BUT, celexa is known to have vast side effects and also many drug interactions. so do a lot of research before you make any decision. only you will know best what works for your family and your child. so don't let any specialist guilt trip you into doing things one way or the other.

as one specialist told me a few weeks ago: "i can't tell you what to put in your body. it is your body and you have every right to decide what you will subject it to. i can only make a recommendation based on what i would do if I were you for my own body."

i really appreciated that. i appreciated a doc who respected my hesitation and concerns.



On Another Note:

Living Social is going to offer a deal today on Whole Foods gift cards. $10 for $20, for those that don't read Hot Deals.
I don't know how many they will let people get. I am desperately hoping I can get multiple.
There are "only" 1 million available, so for those interested, go on early.

Also, last year when they offered the amazon gift card deal, i ordered two. one for me, one for sis. they had said one per person. but then they tracked IP, mailing address, cc numbers, name and end result, I ended up with none cos they said i violated the terms of service by ordering 2, even though the cc's names and mailing addresses were different.
