I guess folks are just busy. I mowed today and have taco chicken in the crock pot. Other than bitching at Kmart and doing Kroger matchups, I haven't done anything else.
Also it's not just this thread dead, the BS thread is a ghost town along with quite a few other threads I follow.

I've been on muscle relaxers and pain killers (back problems grr...) so what I have been doing when not sleeping is thinking that I'm doing something but really just meandering around the house from one uncompleted task to another and taking every opportunity to sit and play or read with my littles. Oh, and changing lots of crazy diapers.
Not much else going on lately.
on hold w/ comcast to get credit for friday's outage. est wait is 11 min. on a sunday morning!
was out all day yesterday. went thru the supermarket circular on the drive to the big city. brunch w/ sil and dh's parents and grandparents b4 she went to the airport. grocery shopping w/ sil and her bff. felt like a munchkin walking w/ skinny giants down the street b/c they are both 6-8 inches taller than me. taxi back to her hotel to meet dh and get her dvd's in dh's car b/c he was supposed to take his grandparents home and come back downtown and get us, but traffic was so bad we beat him to the hotel. back downtown to pick up fil. then further downtown to drop mil and fil at the ferry.
then what do do for a few hrs till we meet dh's bff for dinner? go to the korean supermarket. bought lots of plums in 3 different varieties then hung out at mcdonalds for an hour, 20 minutes of which was waiting to get into the bathroom b/c some man was taking a huge dump and hogging up the mens, so after the cleaning lady finished cleaning the womens restroom she let the men use it also cuz she still had to clean the mens after that guy so she could go home.
meet dh's bff's family and figure out how to take apart the futon (i did most of the brainwork, taking it apart and found the allen wrench), dinner, then it took us 2hrs to get to the supermarket half an hr away from our house so we could buy cheapest of the season mallomars b4 midnite. we got there at 11:30pm and an employee was telling a customer that customer service was already closed so he couldn't get a raincheck (i only found out cs closes at 11pm while the store closes at midnite a few wks ago). if they don't have any in stock, we still have one more chance at another supermarket closer to home b4 they close at midnite.
go to the cookie section and there are 2 smushed boxes. luckily i know how the store operates and i knew there should be a huge pallet of them and they normally don't run out. found it, still had about 10 cases left, dh of course left his loyalty card in the car, so he had to go get it and then the stock guy made some comments that made dh think he couldn't buy an additional 2. limit was 2, dh thought it was tied to the card since we have the same acct, but i know better, it's just 2 per transaction so we each did one. came home, put away all the groceries and finished at 12:30am. checked email and saw sil got home safely to grey and drizzly weather and had a good sleep on the flight.
and that was my day yesterday.
got a $2.89 credit from comcast. whoopee! i made money reading slickdeals, haha! that's sarcasm but i'm too lazy to go find an appropriate smiley.

Does anyone have a good diabetes recipe website? BIL just found out he is diabetic and I would like to make him a few 'treats' to give him. He thinks that he will never get to eat a 'good' cookie again. I would love to find a yummy cookie or something like that to give him so he will realize that it will all be okay.
