I was shocked that the drink question that GG asked 2 weeks ago didn't bring you out of hiding, just to answer the question.

ETA: If you printed the $2/1 Planters Peanut Butter Q, Dollar General has them for $2 a jar this week.

they laughed at me and said we do not advise medicating yourself with alcohol. it has so many consequences, you can become dependent, put on weight, heart disease, liver disease, blah, blah, blah.

creatures, months ago some of you had asked me to report back on unfragranced personal care products i tried and liked. here goes.

1. dr bronners sensitive skin castile soap: i already told you guys about this a while ago. some of you liked it, some didn't. i've been using it for the best part of this year now, and like it a lot. i use it as a shower gel AND a face wash. i have very sensitive skin, and somewhat dry skin. face is combination skin. dryness is mostly gone for me on the body. all sensitive irritation, rosacea etc is gone. however, some of you mentioned that this is still too drying for you. i read online that castile soaps where coconut oil is the first derivative ingredient are more drying/less moisturizing than those derived in greater part from other oils or from olive oil only. so if you are still interested in trying out castile soaps, try one without coconut oil, or atleast one where it is a small component. Best would be to get one made entirely from olive oil because that really is the original traditional castile soap. You can also make your own castile soap at home very easily. I might try this at some point with EVOO. EEK! LMAO

2. Aubrey Organics Shampoo and Conditioner: I got these with the deal a few weeks ago and it has made a great difference in my hair. I am using the Blue Chamomile Shampoo and Conditioner for daily use, and occassionally alternating with the Chamomile Shampoo. The Chamomile is more like a residue removing rinse, so it would be too drying for regular use for me. I have long, fine, wavy hair, and predictably, the ends get dry, so I have to get something that will mositurize my hair without weighing it down/leaving the scalp greasy. The Blue Cham ones have done both fantastically. They leave my hair shiny and soft, with no cloying fragrance. The Blue Chamomile smells a bit like pumpkin pie or spiced vanilla cookies to me when using in the shower, but as soon as you rinse it out the smell disappears. And it doesn't irritate my allergies.

3. I got a bottle of Watts Beauty Organic Pure Argan Oil from Amazon. Has no fragrance, no additives. I used about 3-4 drops in my hair after rinsing earlier this week, and then blow dried and flat ironed. What a difference in just one use! Soft hair, smoother hair. Despite the length of my hair (it's to my armpits/bustline) I think 4 drops was a bit too much. So I'll try 2-3 next time. No smell. No buildup feel. I think this one will be a keeper. But will give you guys more reviews on it after using some more.

4. Next up is Unfragranced, Unadulterated, Organic Jojoba Oil by Desert Essence. Waiting for it to arrive. If that works, that will become my face and body moisturizer. Will let you guys know once I use it for a bit.

ain't that the truth.
but i guess, legally, they can't say that, so it was sort of like an uncomfortable laugh and ahem response from them.

i figure if you get heart disease or liver disease from drinking a lot (for decades, might I add, a few months wouldn't do it, unlike these meds) atleast you'll have had fun doing it, and when you die, which we all will eventually, at least you can say you lived life with gusto. can't say that about the meds. laugh out loud

Hi everyone! We're back from our long weekend at Hershey. Had a good time but the drive home seemed to take forever- we didn't time it well so we hit rush hour traffic and a complete road stop when a car caught on fire in the HOV lane on I95. EEK!

Snuck a few T trips into my weekend. laugh out loud Couldn't help myself.

I saw a pic on the news that Hershey was flooded. Where there any signs of the aftermath of flooding from a few weeks ago?
