HD, regarding the transformers MQ, it works beepless on the $4.99, and $7.99 ones even though it says otherwise... I thought the $4.99 ones were in the peg marked $7.99, but rang up $4.99 (original price)

There is a new Covergirl coupon coming out this weekend, $8/2 face products. If you consider eyeshadow as a face product, there is potential for some O at T and WM. I checked the price of the single shadows and they are $3.14 each at WM. Plus I believe there may be a TQ for $2/2. From previous experience these should be beepless at T and will beep asking "is this a food item" at WM..but should be an easy coupon to use either way.
went apple picking yesterday w/ in-laws. it had been forecast to rain all wk but my mil wanted to go and that was the only day my sil was free. (there was some other drama as to who would pick up my mil and fil earlier when we first started planning a few wks ago b/c originally my sil wanted to bring some friends. so she wanted us to drive 45+ minutes in the wrong direction and pay toll and then drive another extra 45+ minutes to drive them home when her parents are on the way for her. so dh told his sister that she should put her family b4 her friends and sil had canceled.) then the forecast became chance of showers in the afternoon so we decided to make the call in the morning. saturday nite fil saw sun in the local weather forecast when weather.com was still saying rain. woke up and the sun was shining
me and dh picked about 30lbs of golden delicious (generally larger than the supermarket ones but the skin is rougher), red delicious (rounder than supermarket ones), crispin (those are giant!), empire (pretty small), dh picked one stayman winesap and 4 mystery apples (the unlabeled rows were not ready for picking but his family can't follow any of the signs). it was warm and really, really humid. this was the first time going to this orchard which has more varieties. nephews were disappointed they couldn't climb the trees b/c they'd all been pruned short. lots of rotten apples on the trees b/c of all the rain, but there were also lots of decent apples to pick.
i thought we'd go to the mall or the outlets after and then have dinner but sil wanted to go to costco or bj's, ugh! just been to costco on friday! she's lucky i'm pretty familiar w/ the area b/c we almost moved there over 10 yrs ago and a good friend we'd gone house-shopping w/ ended up living there. i did forget to buy rice on friday so it wasn't a total waste of time.

anybody remember the highly volatile *gang-cut* discussion we had here? that's what they called my 4 sierra mist coupons on saturday nite.
i was trying to use up my good q's at shoprite that are expiring this friday 9/30, so as usual, i hand over my loyalty card and and then my coupons. usually the cashiers flip thru them to check all the expiration dates and then start ringing up your order.
not this time. she lays them all down on the back belt and starts examining all of them. (b4, it was just the cashier supervisor who would do that w/ questionable ip's.) she tells me she can't take the 4- .75 sierra mist coupons because they are the same.
she goes over and asks the supervisor and the supervisor comes over and says they can't take them b/c they are gang-cut and they don't get reimbursed when they are gang-cut. (the coupons had been raoked to me and they'd been ripped instead of cut and they all had the same small notch.) so i tell her, i know what gang-cut coupons are, online, jill cataldo around chicago talked about gang-cut coupons, i only have 4 coupons, gang-cut is when you have like 13 (the smallest group of rejected gang-cut q's shown at that conference was 12.). so she says she's going to take them this time and walks away.

the funny part was they took my 2- 1.00 off scotchbrite pdf q's w/o saying anything. i've learned that if i try to use 4 they will reject them saying they are copied but haven't had any problems just using 2. they think all ip's have unique codes on them and don't understand pdf's so you have to sneak them in 1 or 2 at a time. unless you are buying $200+ of stuff and have a huge stack of q's. this past summer i would give my bff the santa cruz q's and have her buy the lemonade for me b/c she never got rejected and i would.
the ultra funny part was the sierra mist was 5/5.00, must by five, each rang up as 1.45 and when the 5th was rung up, 2.25 was deducted. so each of my 4 coupons doubled to 1.45 (x4) so i ended up making money!
the unfunny part is now i have to really avoid that particular store even more and go to the other one and trim all my q's individually w/ a scissor.

Oh no, no, NOOOoooooo. I found this: {utility name} works only on x32 OSs now.

Silly thing is, that the photo album isn't even for me. It's for my ex-MIL. She gets this album and a 75% off quilt that I found at target.

And, I was in a mad rush to complete a SF book too.. Ended up getting 2 of them made.. But, I had the opposite problem.. Couldn't find enough pictures to fill my books.. Or, didn't have time to search all the computers for them and upload them..
