And thanks all, for the birthday wishes! I had a nice day with the family. My son took me to lunch at a cute local italian place. Then hub and I went to a new martini bistro for a drink. I was still full at dinner time, but the guys wanted to take me out so we went to Red Robin and I got my free burger! Managed somehow to eat it and it was very good. It was fun to watch the kids that were all dressed up in their formals for homecoming.

I was gonna get a new car today, but they didn't accept the offer my DH made. Not sure if they will call us back or what. So I'm still on the search for that perfect car.

I'm kind of nervous because I have to report Monday morning for jury duty, well to see if I am even selected for a trial. I managed to get lucky last week and when I called they said they didn't need me and to call for the following week. My luck ran out and I must appear. I used to really want to sit on a jury, but not so much now. I hope I'm either picked fast or sent home fast, the waiting in a room will bore me to death and is what I dread most.

I used some. But I still have some to go. Glad you had a wonderful birthday. I just had jury duty a couple weeks ago. Actually all of us were sent to courtrooms, and after the asked all the questions we had a short break and then they dismissed those of us that were not picked.

I told them I thought the guy was innocent - and it seemed to throw them. Well dang. They did this whole big speech on how the accused has the presumption of innocent, how he is innocent unless proven guilty, how we are not supposed to think he committed a crime just because he was sitting there, and how he did not have to prove his innocence, the state had to prove his guilt...

Then - later - his attorney asked who thought he was guilty. No one raised their hand. Then she asked who thought he was innocent. I was the only one who raised my hand. So they asked me why. I said "I thought that was what we were supposed to think at this point...presumption of innocence...yadayadayada..." Then everyone raised their hand. LMAO

This is me too...I really want to do it at some point in my life too....last time my number was up I didn't end up having to report and that was the first time I'd been summoned. Which was OK since it was really bad timing. Good luck!

Good morning guys Wave just checking in from vacation. We are on day #4. We have enjoyed Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios so far... having a great time but the weather could be better. It actually rained every minute of our day yesterday. We put on ponchos and just went with it. By 7 pm we were all ready to go. Todays forecast calls for heavy down pours again, so we decided to take today off.. hoping for some sunshine tomorrow!

hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

Awwwe..Sorry for the crappy weather. But I say a day at Disney in the rain, is better than no Disney at all. But we have walked those parks many times wearing those wonderful Mickey ponchos. LOL Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Happy birthday, ladies!

Been getting some work done at DD's new house. When they (they being whatever idiot did it) put the new windows (double hung tilt in) in her house they set them in too far. When they (they being DD and DH) go to side it, this will pose a huge problem. The siding won't butt up to the windows right. So, all the new windows need removed and put back in, but pushed more to the outside. DH is doing it now so that any thing that gets messed up inside is messed up and fix now so that when she is done with the inside, it is done for good. And one window did crumble some plaster (it's patched now!). The others went great. Windows are all done but one in the kitchen. And we got the first coat of primer on one bedroom and the hall.

DD has been working 6 days a week, 10 hours M-F. She's off today (it's a holiday for them) and would like to go shopping for a few more house things. Of course she sprung this on me last night. My coupons are in a drawer but not organized. I haven't even looked at the Target thread since I don't know when. Any free or nearly free goodies? I need cheese and meat any good deals on either? Off to search!

Good morning all...
I did endup getting 3 cheese cake, left it in the freezer.

DS#2 is sick, throwing up since last night and I am round the clock, cleaning up the mess after him Frown
Loaded the laundry (2x times), cleaned 2 bathrooms, unloaded dishwashed, cleaned up the sink...
I am off to do the next bathroom, and then shower..then kids shower...
have 3x laundry loads to fold (I WISH THEY INVENT SOMETHING TO FOLD THESE LAUNDRY STUFFS)

Crying So sad that my store doesn't sell the 40 oz cheese cake. They did have a smaller size but it was only a dollar off and they shelf was wiped clean. The nearest store that has some is 75 miles away in a city I have never heard of. I can't justify driving that far cheesecake.


Someone bought the pool I was stalking. It finally went to 50% but I'm too cheap to spend $250 dollars on one.

Good news is that I was able to pick up the Dyson DC 28 animal for 50%. I'm pretty sure I'm missing some accessories. Do you think if I call the company and say I didn't get them that they would send them too me? I will have to research what I am missing. I think it is missing a crevice tool and maybe a small brush. Does anyone know what the accessories are that normally sit on the vacuum? I did get something that has a roller brush and then another tool that is used for vacuuming underthings but neither of those will attach to the vacuum.
