Glad I'm not the only one. I usually stop by T. on Tues. after dd's gymnastics but I did WM instead today...really went there to pick up some more of these pants I found that actually fit (rare occasion laugh out loud) and happened upon some of the Scrubbing Bubbles $3.96 kits....FINALLY. Yay. But that is the 2nd or 3rd time I've been there in the last week or two!

bleh. oh well, maybe it will make me feel better if real PB gets close to the price of Sunbutter (which is outrageous)....hate buying it but it is a great sub. for peanut-allergic dd. She gets so excited if I even say the word but it is sooooooo expensive! Hy-Vee used to run Skippy on sale for $.99 regularly it seemed like and I haven't seen that in ages I don't think Frown

nod BUT....laugh out loud can you link the crockpot potato soup recipe?? THAT is where I saw it I bet but for some reason hadn't been able to find it (like I looked at it and forgot to pin or something laugh out loud) So yeah, I bought the bag of potatoes THINKING I'd pinned it or printed it and then I couldn't find it Roll Never a dull moment. I am so glad you posted this!

keep a watch out for sunbutter sales. someone in my region said she saw a sale and stocked up at half price or so.

Just read an article that Peanut Butter is going up anywhere between 30-40% by the end of the month. If you are PB lover you may want to stock up now. We don't really eat alot but will probably get a few just to have because I am too cheap to pay the price for it now w/out a slickdeal can't imagine paying 40% more.
Wow! Maybe I should buy some, then resell after prices go up? You know, sorta like peanut butter day trading? Teehee Thirty to 40% increase is a better return than any stock out there! laugh out loud

laugh out loud Glad I can help, that's funny you knew what I was talking about! I wanted to make it as soon as I found the recipe. I made it pretty much verbatim though they forgot to list the cheddar cheese but it is pictured. I used homemade broth from a leftover rotisserie and some garden herbs, so I'm sure those added some flavor. It was very, very good. Definitely going on the rotation and it's super easy. Recipe is here [blogspot.com]

I think I'll be making Halloween S'mores [blogspot.com] as well. They look so cool!

I also love the cool crafts. I can tell this site is going to suck me in!!

Holy crap, I'm totally addicted to Pinterest.

Floor instal started this week and should be done in the next day or two. Landscaping starts Monday and then we can get our occupancy permit. Tentative move in date: November 4th! Roll

Sadwalk No such luck here so far. Closest I've come is a small TPC @ T. or one of my grocery stores that carries it a tad cheaper than everywhere else. At least she's only 3 and we don't go through it too terribly fast. She isn't so peanut-allergic that we can't have PB in the house gratefully to dh and I stick with regular.

Wellllll shucks!! I'm pretty sure that wasn't the one because it had regular potatoes! I was so excited about it that I went out and bought the bag of potatoes already. laugh out loud Then lost the recipe. Sadness. I will keep looking but I'm trying that one too because it looks amazing as well. My mom makes a similar one (non-crockpot) but it uses the refrigerated diced potatoes, chicken broth, and the "secret" flavor-booster-thickener so-to-speak is a packet of country gravy mix?? No cream soup or cream cheese - it is WW Pts. friendly I think. I just want one for the crock pot because I far prefer that over the stove!

Thx for the s'mores link too - my SIL is a huge s'mores anything fan so I'll have to pin that one to her!

Love Pinterest!

Yahoo! Holy cow that is approaching quickly!! Yay!

Pinterest is dangerous when you have a brand-spanking-new (or just new-to-you) house!! Evil

Ok, need some advice on a Target order.
Did you cancel via email or get some kind of an email showing the cancellation? I would forward it to them, explaining that the item was shipped to you anyway and ask them to send you a FedEx/UPS prepaid label to have it picked up. If they don't respond or don't send it, then I guess don't worry about it. On the other hand, if you happen to go Target with a friend who has a bigger vehicle, toss it in.

I was told awhile back that our Target was going to be turned into a PFresh.
As they build new ones, I'm surprised that they all aren't being built as Super Targets like Wal-Mart did once they went super. I have to say, I love the Super T.

Here's one:

About 3 pounds of potatoes baked and cubed

2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups finely minced onion (really fine, like pretty much mush)
2 tablespoons minced garlic

Saute that all together on low for about 10 minutes until soft but do not brown

Add about 2/3 of the potatoes to that and mash them. Just use a potato masher or a spoon, you don't necessarily want it super smooth.

Add:

1 can (14.5 oz) of chicken broth
3 cups Half & Half
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper (I use white pepper)
the rest of your cubed potatoes

I usually do the onions and garlic in little pan then toss it all in the crock pot.

Garnish with green onions, bacon, shredded cheddar
