Great food/beautyproducts/household and baby goods/organic natural products deal:
Eversave has a voucher deal going - $25 for $50 at Abe's Market online. Abe's has free shipping for $49 purchase pre voucher use, so basically it's free shipping.
Plus on eversave you get $10 if you refer someone and they sign up, $3 for signing up for their emails, and there's a $5 coupon available today, code SPOOKY. I don't know if all of those stack cos I haven't bought the deal yet, BUT, the $10 and $3 should definitely stack cos they're just eversave rewards.
Abe's has a vast and great selection! We'll be getting some pantry staples from here.
ETA: turns out, you cannot use the $10 referral credit towards this purchase. but you can earn it for a future purchase. just fyi...
i know what you mean about the pressure to use the cats. last year when i did lots of cat deals at SNS and another regional chain, i then ended up just walking to the natural/organic section and buying stock up things for the pantry. and i would also add some perishable things we might need: tofu, eggs, milk, yogurt, butter, OJ (stuff that's boxed and refrigerated, so not like produce where the quality varies - i remember you saying that the produce is terrible at your SNS).
the stock-ups have been invaluable for us. i still have things from last year, unexpired. and we've been using them constantly since I haven't been able to grocery shop much this year. it's been a lifesaver.
if you want ideas for boxed/organic things that are good at SNS, just holler. they usually have good options for sales on organic/natural cereals and they all come with peelies generally; muir glen sauces; a bunch of their own nature's place line things; their own house brand organic raisins (comes in a tin-shaped thick paper container/jar/canister with a plastic lid) are excellent and a great value. ditto on their organic oatmeals.
oooh, i also bought things like raw honey, spices, teas, different kinds of rice... things that wouldn't go bad quickly and that I know we use a lot of.
all that being said, i find the buying one card at a time business so cumbersome. i know i personally wouldn't have felt comfortable doing 4-5-6 back to backs at my store, and that means going from store to store. what a pain!
eta: one more idea - pasteurized egg whites. i buy the organic kind and i find that they have long expiration dates and stay unspoiled in their sealed state in the back of the fridge for a looooooooong time. they're great for scrambles and omelets and fried rice and even baking.
1- everything on sale is .50 more than sr. you buy just 6 items and all of a sudden you've already broken even w/ the gas. i normally spend about 30.00/wk, the wks i buy meat up to 50.00. so after q's i've bought like 15-20+ items and saved significantly over sns.
2- bad overpriced produce. even when stuff has been cheap i didn't buy b/c bad quality.
3- meat is not good quality and goes bad fast. after getting burned couple times i cannot afford to take chances there. i'm sure it's b/c of the really bad turnover. the store by me is always deserted all the time. don't know how it stays in business. there is another one that is bigger and busier but again, more expensive.
actually anything perishable is not good to buy at sns. recently dh bought a half gal of milk and it went really bad b4 the expiration date. you might remember that alien story.
so i just end up buying my little fac's and cheapies there like luna bars and bottled drinks that have long exp dates when i go out and it's on the way home. for awhile oj and bounty were cheap periodically but no more.
unfortunately i'm pretty well stocked on teas, raisins, honey, tomato products, cereal (and i'm going into the not eating cold cereal time of yr.), etc.
one time i tried sns organic salad dressing and it was nasty. actually, so was wf365. can't get good organic ranch dressing. so i have not bought sns organics.
last nite i realized i don't have one cracker in the house and i'm looking for an oatmeal deal and apple juice and apple cider. however, shoprite should be having their once a yr oatmeal deal soon and again sns is almost always .50 more expensive so the 20% off gets lost if i have to pay 20% more on groceries.

that doesn't sound like fun at all.
what about annie's? tried their ranch? do you like it?
or organicville?
or some of the refrigerated dressings vs the shelf stable ones?
if you were closer, i'd make you ranch dressing and bring it over.
oatmeal... arrowhead mills organic is my favorite. couple of weeks ago people were getting it for a buck a box at WF. did you get in on that? don't know if that's still on going.
there are also several coupons out for country choice organic. i want to say i tried it once and didn't like it.
what kind of crackers do you guys like? lots of decent cracker deals at SNS always.
apple cider... sparkling kind or fresh?
if it's the sparkling kind i'd say wait for a few more weeks. tons of deals will start popping in just about 2 weeks. last year we got wine sized bottles of organic apple cider for a buck, buck-50 a bottle on sale (SNS is not a good place for that. WF was great. and also another regional chain here). the cider lasted us well into the spring. I was stocked up for dinner gatherings and such. we love it!
apple juice... what kind do you guys like? filtered and shelf-stable? or the pasteurized, refrigerated fresh-pressed kind?
You must stop helping others. LOL

I appreciate that poster's inside track on current markdowns and everything, but she is definitely a "company gal".
And funny to me that they deleted everything, except kallison's reply to my post, so you can still read one of mine.
