Awesome!!! I bought some Maxwell House Wake Up blend last week and its vomit barely even drinkable. But the cheapie in me couldn't bear to spend more cash to replace it. I'll try this tomorrow.

I saw it posted in the Publix thread earlier.. Trying to decide if any stores around here will accept a printable for a free item.. Alot of stores have stopped after problems with fake ones..

At target, yes.. If you have anything over 10.00, it will bring up the "pick an item" screen for cashier to chose what is supposed to be free.

that was extremely rude and unprofessional to just kill the groups w/o any warning. i've found this whole upgrade process extremely annoying. they are just extremely callous and don't even try to sell the benefits of this extensive upgrade, of which i have yet to find one. i don't see any benefit to seeing everyone's voting history, their activities/every minute movement in sd, their friends, their contacts, deleting the groups w/o warning, etc. i don't even want to know what i did a minute ago, a day ago or a month ago. like everyone else, the only person who would be interested would be stalkers.

for me, there has only been one solitary improvement. since the buttons on the two menu bars are now staggered, i don't accidentally pull the deal menu down over the user cp button when i wanted to click on the user cp button.

other than that, it's been a lot of work to find out what the changes are since i have to find out either by not knowing what to do anymore and/or following the feedback thread which is extra reading, to change my privacy settings, to delete my activities, to delete my friends ( who actually still exist), to learn to click first on *my accounts* button on the other side of the page to read my subscriptions and then the next day learn to click on my subscriptions back on the other side of the page. and i lost my group w/o no warning.

so all in all, only one positive and many negatives.

speaking about diet group, should we do a yahoo group or a facebook group? those honey smoked almonds are really addictive!

didn't get any costumes for my niece and nephew in italy but did find 2 boxes mini choco muffins for .98 (70% off), 1 bag of milky ways, 1 bag of mr goodbar, a dozen bagged lego atlantis, a dozen bagged lego city fire copters, a dozen bagged ninjago for .39 each and one squinky for .39 (90% off). they had lots of sugar cookies but didn't buy any.....yet. i might if they go 90% off tomorrow.

the SD plan is to do away with the whole group function.
we have access to the data temporarily. bryantq (SD CEO) posted the data link after ST explained how upset she was. but also said that the groups function is effectively dead, and access to the data will be gone soon.

Never belonged to a yahoo group. Facebook has it set up so that you can have a closed group so no one can see your posts unless you belong to the group.

I can understand the frustration. The difference of releasing at midnight vs 4am is really nitpicking because there are always users on the site, if its not you its someone else.

Believe it or not, it was tested pretty thoroughly and for all intents and purposes, the new system is easier to use for a new user. It is much more obvious where things are located, and easier to navigate. Obviously, for the old users who are used to the old way, any sort of change is upsetting.

i've done yahoo and i've done facebook. if we do facebook, be forewarned that i'm going to use my fakebook account so i can have some friends there so you may get some spamming. but i don't use it all that much and i make it a point to unlike things after i get what i want, so it shouldn't be bad.

i got into the diet group but there is no way to post!

so let's take a vote. make sure you guys change your settings to private b4 pulling the lever! i'm ok w/ yahoo or fakebook, but i'd prefer fakebook so i can have some friends for some of the deals.
