I'm in programming and have never heard of the word deprecation or deprecated. But in my department, we never get rid of anything that anybody is using.

it's like they're deliberately making things difficult hoping people will give up. not realizing SD'ers don't give up, they push forward, but it's just an exhausting and unnecessary tug of war.

i'd personally prefer yahoo.
i don't have a personal fb account.
i have one coupon account but i do a ton of contests there too, so that means people getting super spammed. which means i'd have to make yet another fb account. between multiple email accounts, phone numbers, points sites, SD, fb, daily deal sites, it's just way too many accounts that i have to log in to every single day and read, read, read. i'm not able to keep up.

Soooo I have a poop story. My 3 year old is mostly potty trained. By mostly, I mean he has finally stopped popping his britches every 3 days. Well, today wasn't a good day. diet support group. they don't want us socializing. socializing doesn't make money. also that there were few users.

i get all that, but it's not like nobody was using it at all. it's just common courtesy to say hey, we are closing up shop here and turning off the lights. pls gather your personal belongings and exit the building.

to be honest, they are not service-oriented around here at all. they really wear the blinders around here. they only see if from their point of view. i can't believe bryantq thinks the way he uses the word deprecate is part of the common vernacular. in the beginning cgrady wouldn't even believe the subscriptions were unsubscribing b/c he couldn't duplicate it. as if we were lying. after a yr he installed some little feature that would give him reports on what was happening when somebody got unsubscribed. after that it was fixed in a couple days. cannot believe it took a yr to figure out that he needed to watch the activity and see what was happening when threads got unsubscribed. Facepalm. and only b/c i was really persistent and kept posting whenever i got unsubscribed even when he said it was unnecessary. i kinda got the feeling he was hoping we'd just go away. btw- i know he's a contractor and probably works from home, something like kallison. one time i somehow figured out what company he was working for, i don't remember how i figured it out and i can't duplicate it right now b/c he's offline. i don't think that's really public knowledge exactly who writes his paycheck. they don't seem to understand there's a difference between things being public if you happen upon it or search diligently and just handing it out on a platter.

for instance, do people really need to know that gg repped cgrady for this post?

so anyway, i think we'll say fakebook is out b/c we don't want to create yet another account just for the diet support group. or else we'd be spamming each other w/ our existing accounts which i doubt anybody wants either.

i know for yahoo groups, you do not need to have a yahoo account to be a member so that would work for everyone.

i would like to look into gmail. my bff works on the online side of the wall street journal and she says all the developers and designers there all use gmail. i also have a coupon gmail account and if i used it for the group i would check that account way more often like i should be.

Has anyone tried the Community Coffee brand? Found a store that carried it and took the free coupon. They had alot of flavors. I got the House blend, but did notice a Hotel blend. Wonder what that is like? HMM.

Target was fully stocked on Curel. I was in heaven. LOL I bought the few Ultra Healing since it was signed, they also had tons of Foot lotion but since it isn't signed no one buys it. So I am saving that (hopefully it is still there) for Friday when I go back. I also found a size XL Hello Kitty pajama pants for $3.74 they were hanging in the womens section but the coupon beeped (k1'd of course) but brought them home and now wondering if they aren't kids XL...but they look so big to be kids, so IDK. They fit my DD18 and look like capri's on her. LOL She said for .74 she would wear them!

All in all a very good day, was able to pick up my DS Modern Warfare3 (he paid for that) and came home with a nice stack of giftcards.

I buy this when Amazon has the cheap deals, it's not bad. We like a strong, bold coffee and the French Roast whole bean is always good. The beans are fresh and aromatic and it brews up to taste real similar to some Starbucks and Tully's blends that I've had before.

I haven't tried the House or Hotel blend, nor have I tried that free coupon yet!
