P.S. Something has changed on the mobile site in my iPhone browser. The text is really small, I mean I have to put reading glasses on to see it, and it didn't used to be like this. There was a thread about it in the site issues forum, but they report it should be fixed. Nothing has changed for me. If you read here on your iPhone or Touch, can you please let me know if the text size is now smaller for you?

The PM text (when typing) is smaller than normal too, but gets larger on preview PM. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) of course they've fixed it... NOT!

It's the same size for me but I have a Blackberry so it's always been rather small because my screen is smaller.

Just FYI, for those of you that made privacy changes to your public streams:

your activities are still showing up in a play-by-play fashion on other people's activity streams, if those people didn't shut down their streams.

so if you rep someone, and they have a stream going, it will show on their stream exactly which post you repped and what time.
it will also show what posts you replied to. what threads you replied to. what giveaways you entered.

you saw the accounting slowtech posted of my interaction with cgrady.

so, if based on my earlier info about how to shut down your stream, you came to the conclusion that your privacy was now protected, I apologize for that misinformation. it is not.

so far, the SD stance is that all that information belongs to the recipient so they will not shut it down.

i have tried to explain my position several times, and can only hope we find a solution to it.

but if not, i will not be repping anyone anymore.
and in all likelihood, i will not be posting anymore either. i will retire to lurkdom if this continues. because I simply am not okay with a site monitoring my activities in real time and then broadcasting those activities to hundreds of thousands of people despite my expressly choosing not to broadcast such a monitoring stream.

Thanks. For free, I was more than willing to give it a try. However, after I got home, I looked up this stores cpn policy and it states they do not accept printed cpns for free items?? Weird, cause I specifically asked before I used the coupon. Oh well, they agreed to take it so...May even try again when I go back. lol

Cowboy morning...

There is a Torani Syrup MQ in the printable thread, and selected walmarts here have the small bottles (at least 8-10 flavors available), right next to the coffee grinder. I bought both SF Hazelnut and SF Vanilla, but I'm not convinced that it's any better than my SF Hazelnut Creamer from International Delight. I use a 1/4 of a cup of ID creamer, so I've been using 1 T of syrup and then filling the 1/4 cup with half and half.

Note that only 2 of the 5 walmarts here had them.

morning.

so i decided late last nite to go treasure hunting at a store half an hr away. when we got there the lights were out and there was an employee sitting by the doors in the dark! came home and checked. that store was supposed to be open for another hr. wonder what was going on.....

tn- you haven't stated an opinion about where we should move the diet support group to. would you be ok w/ another thread in the lounge or do you want to do an email group? or do you mind getting spammed on facebook?

If you create a private group on facebook - you don't have to be friends with the people in the group. You might have to be friends with one person in the group but once you are invited to the group you could unfriend them. Then you wouldn't have to worry about being spammed.

FB is blocked here at work, and I personally despise FB, so... I have no idea if yahoo chats are or not.

I'd rather stay here and not move, but that's my preference. Working on my 2nd quart of water Cheers right now.

well, you can quote people w/o having it posted in their activity stream but its ugly. but doable. you just have to break the html code so it doesn't actually *quote*. i was experimenting in the feedback thread here-

staying here may prove to be a problem w/ one of the members but we'll see. would you be ok just posting here or starting a new thread? but everything will be public.

w/ a yahoo group you could select to get emails, so if you can get email at work you wouldn't have any problems. and it would be even more private than the groups were here.

or you could sign in to the yahoo group but their system is really antiquated and you can't get any attachments. so if somebody posted a picture you couldn't see it.

but the email works really good. however it really clutters up your inbox unless you are very diligent about it. which i'm not. but i would do it for you! heart Teehee
