Did anyone make any purchases using the $5 promo code on Target.com last time it was out? It is valid again today and tomorrow and I have made 'several' purchases so far today and am really hoping they all go thru. Someone posted in HD that they received 34 out of 38 of their orders last time. LOL
I have not done anywhere near that many. But will be very upset if I am charged full price for any of my orders. So far most oop has been $2.50 for boys boxers. I have had a few free (only paid tax) orders.
Just curious if anyone has done any?

I did two orders when the make up was cheap and had no problems with them. I did one order last week that $5 off and two item there were buy one get one 50% and one item shipped fine the other one never made it to UPS? I sent an email to them and if they don't respond by tomorrow I will try calling. I did try calling first but no one answered and I couldn't wait very long because I was at work.

I did make it to Macy's today. Picked up the Calvin Klein pillow and a clearance shirt. Total was 25.99 and the $10 coupon worked. So it's like I got a free pillow. I'm happy.

How does the Circo brand sizes run? Wondering if I should go up a size or if they are pretty true to size? I am buying nightgown/pj's for them, if that makes any difference.

I don't like shopping for sizes I am not familiar with. LOL I could always guess pretty correctly for mine when they were little but having trouble with niece/nephew sizes. Guess it has been too long since mine were that age.

Thanks for the info! I went today and the most of one item/q I had was 5. Transaction required supervisor approval at the end, but both my cashier and the supervisor were very cool about it, and congratulated me on my savings. The cashier even had the supervisor look over all my coupons, because he was nervous that I had used too many, but the supervisor brushed him off and said it was all fine. My total went from $5x.xx down to $16.xx. Big Grin If this store were a little closer, I would do a lot more of my shopping there. As it is, its a 20-30 minute drive for me, so the deals have to be good enough to justify the time/gas/money.
great job! Clap esp for whole foods. too bad it's not closer.

luckily mine is on the way to the supermarket so i go about once or twice a month to do a deal or 2 and drop off #5 plastics by the exit.

by the time i got there, they were all out of extra firm pillows, but i think i should be ok w/ firm. got dh medium b/c he likes his pillow flat, just not target pillow flat. i was going to get a pillow protector to get up to or over 25.00 but the allergy and dust mite one was 19.99! EEK! so i called bff to see if she wanted a pillow too b/c i knew she was in the market.

For Circo I would say up a size. With my dd she is very small/short...she is 3-and-a-half and still in some 2t stuff, mostly 3t, but with Circo I think it runs small/short and it is about the only brand I size up in - she has some 4t in that, especially in shirts. For nieces and nephews I always just figure if I accidentally get it too big they can wear it the following year or whatever too at least....unless they're babies...but once they hit 2t-ish it seems like they'll wear each size for about 1 yr/season anyway. Depends so much on how the kid is built too. My dd is finally starting to "even out" a bit...her legs used to be so much shorter than her torso and consequently if I bought anything that came in a "set" one part wouldn't fit laugh out loud Same thing with her arms. In winter her shirt size was dictated almost solely by her gangly monkey arms on her short little body and now they seem to have finally slowed down. This winter has been much easier to size clothes by far. Or rather, to pick the right size out of all the clearance Target clothes I have on hand Roll

Although....I did have to buy her snowboots....I guessed size 10 for this yr. (last year when I bought them on clearance at the end of winter) and she only made it into about a size 7-8. Oh well, looks like the 10 will fit next year at least Smilie Snowpants too...ugh, we had a 2t and a 4t and of course neither worked. Got some cheap off of ebay.

I did about 10 last time and didn't really expect them all to ship.. but they did. It seemed to take forever, but they all came in seperate envelopes one day!
Today, I sent in quite a few.. and my DD sent in some as well Wink

I agree with TM4D- I think they run small as well. I got my daughter a 5T last week and they seem kinda small on her.. But, I figure for the .35 I paid for them that if she only gets a few wears, then I have gotten my money's worth.

Ok thanks. I always bought the next size up for my kids cause they never liked the clothing fitting to them. They are like me and like to be airy. Big Grin My sister thinks size 10 will fit but I think I will go ahead and get the next size as well just so I have a backup. It is a nightgown for he birthday gift. Would hate to give her one that she couldn't even wear. LOL..

I read on the other thread that they are limiting to 20 per acct. I am not that far yet, but I still have all day today. Wink

Thanks for the help ladies. Have a wonderful Wed!

I think especially with nightgowns, its always fine to go the next size up. Extends the usability of the nightgown. nod

Um...is there a link I should be looking for?? This sounds very intriguing...

OH Thank you Thank you Thank you!

I have been saving these dang points ever since they started the program and all I ever got was a Kodak photo book for 200 points a couple of years ago. I was able to get 2 $50 gift cards to Best Buy, a home depot card and a subway card. I still have 1100 points left and I rarely drink coke.

I have vacation today and am going shopping with my ex-sister-in-laws. They like me better then their own brother LMAO I think I am set with all my coupons. I have the $10 off 25 at jcpenney and at Macy's. There was a $5 off at gap kids coupon that i managed to get 3 of. $10 off 30 at bath & body works. 50% off banana republic, although I doubt I will find anything affordable there. I'm going to sign up at Godiva for a free chocolate. I think I have everything I need.

Have a great day everyone!

morning. grey and rainy here.

found a whole bar of those sleep shorts in med lavender yesterday. picked up 2 and didn't bother trying them on b/c it was getting late and still had to go to costco. good thing i picked up 2 b/c for one of them one leg is shorter than the other and not cut well so there is a weird bubble at the hips. which my white pair of jeans that i did not try on also has! the sleep shorts feel weird b/c the legs are different lengths. not impressed w/ bottoms at target lately. sleep shorts would have been a total rip-off at full-price/10.99.

I think GT is the only one who can approve and she has been busy and not online.. She hasn't even posted much in the thread there.. Hopefully she will be on tonight maybe..

How are things going TN? I have been doing much better the last week since your motivation and the whip coming out.. I want to drop about 6 pounds of what I had gained before the holidays!

Pretty good I guess. I'm not as good about the Cheers water as I should be lately. Remember I don't normally weigh but once a month or so (and it was covered at the last Drs appt).

I bought some Diet Sierra Mist last night at Publix and I'm trying to talk myself into going to the WM that has the torani syrup to try the raspberry (or something fruity) to put in with it. Sorry about the whip Blush2 (but apparently it produced the desired effect). I just needed some companionship on posting.
I'll be north of Knoxville this weekend at my niece's college BB game. Hide that I'm going to Litton's in Knoxville to eat. I'm calling it my early birthday dinner..the 25th (yea, that's the ticket).
