Morning. Yawn

Nothing is calling my name on the BF sales. I bought a Kindle Fire from Amazon and should receive it tomorrow. Peer pressure, I tell you. I don't have time to read other than SD.

I am so sad about getgreen09. I do not understand how someone is banned and not showing as such in a profile. You can send a message to her and don't know that she cannot receive it. Confused

The cheaper JF is usually around 4.99 (frizz ease and brilliant blonde/brunette, etc), the root awakening is a little higher, and the full repair line is usually 5.99 each.

As far as GG goes, I haven't seen anything official about what happened.. but, I do miss her posts nod


I am just sipping coffee and planning my shopping week.. I don't really see anything great on BF either. I am gonna grab a few of the flash drives that Target has in their ad tonight and try to PM on Friday.. I like shopping on BF though cause they are busy and usually just scan those darn coupons with harassment to get you out of the line Smilie

morning. raining. ended up picking up one of bff's kids from nursery school and watching him for an hr and then watching another 2 when they got off the school bus for another hr so somehow i only did one load of laundry yesterday.

i've been taking the 2- 9yr olds to the library once/wk for a few hrs to do their homework and then go over it w/ the homework buddies (HS volunteers) and attend programs there like arts and crafts and movies. we also have a deal this yr for them to do 5 worksheets to take out a library book. so yesterday one of them finally finished her 5 worksheets and wanted her book that day. so i said if she did 3 things, 1- finished her homework, 2- ate dinner, 3- brushed her teeth, i would come back w/ the book.

got a call b4 i finished checking all the sheets that she just had to brush her teeth and could she get her book to use that for her 20 minutes of reading? so back over there and go over the problems she got wrong. found out she hadn't learned long division yet and had been asking everyone to help her w/ it. she did only get one wrong. but i thought i learned long division in 3rd grade??? she's already in 4th. and then i found out she doesn't know long multiplication either. i'm still shocked at how shaky they are in math. i asked her yesterday how much was 7 + 8 and the first thing that came out of her mouth was 14!:eek:

Yeah, I've noticed the mislabeled stuff too but I think they're aware of it. I don't work in IT; I'm just semi-geek so I guess I fall somewhere in between you and them. :lol:

ummm, so who's public streaming have you been checking to see the mislabeled stuff, hmmm? :teehee: i'm subscribed to the feedback thread and haven't seen anybody mention it. it's a pointless waste of time b/c it doesn't even work right. dunno why they made it front and center since none of the thousands of sd'ers have found it so useful they've seen fit to complain it doesn't work right. the biggest complaint i've seen is the folders going away.

i was thinking about getting the kindle fire too but only b/c i've been thinking about getting a netbook and since it's pretty much does the same thing, figured i might as well go hi tech :teehee:

honestly do not know why they would ban GG. she can't log in. don't even think there was any message as to why. it's not as if she posted anything so bad they deemed it needed to be deleted unlike somebody else who was posting around that time.....twice. i don't think she did anything so egregious it deserved that response, esp compared to what a former tcc'er allegedly did and got permabanned for.

i myself am skating on thin ice, otherwise i would ask she be reinstated.

We were possibly thinking of doing no presents for the kids this year and getting Disneyland tickets instead and then going for three days right after Christmas day. We are still not sure, I thought I read at one point that Target may sell some kind of a Disney GC? When I looked instore I have only found Kindle, itunes, and gaming cards.
Not sure if we could pull it off but I at least want to research it. I am so sick of all the plastic parts and toys strewn all over that they don't take care of.

Like someone says it starts at 4.99 (Brunette and Blonde) some are 5.39 (Frizz Ease) and the rest are 5.99 (Root Awakening and Full Repair). It's the buy 3 get a $5 GC deal again. So if you have Q's from inserts or hangtags they could be as low as $1.32. Less if you have some TQ's that haven't expired. The TQ isn't currently up from what I've been told but I haven't looked for myself. It's not free but if you need shampoo/conditioner and you like JF it's not a bad deal.

All of my stores definitely carry the disney GC with the others in electronics..

That time of year will be insanely busy at the parks though Frown

But, I do hear ya on the toys being everywhere.. we always bag up so many to donate and throw away before the new gifts start. I actually told DH the other day that I prefer to buy a few larger gifts now, rather than all the small cheaper things with tons of piece for that very reason.. I get tired of picking up plastic stuff that gets left around and then lost. I would rather pay 100.00 for one nice something.. I am thinking of getting my DD a leap pad thing maybe..

quick alien story that just happened b4 i forget. so i'm doing laundry and i say i'm doing warm water darks and then i'm going to do cold water darks so might as well give me all of them (dunno why he just doesn't put it in the laundry so then i'll see it's time to do do the wash???). so then the alien comes over and asks if darks include what he's wearing and pulls on his black sweatpants.

there is not that many categories besides dark and light for colors. if black isn't dark, what is it??? must be from another planet.....

I agree 100% on the toy thing! Last year all they got was DS and a few games. This year they want either ipods or the new DS. I didn't realize the park would be so crowded but that makes sense Frown

I want to make several hundred muffins for co-workers, but where do you find muffin/cupcake liners that are cheap (ie, not 3 cents EACH like the reynolds ones at Publix) (it's for a charity event before Christmas). I know in the past I have bought a 10-12 inch sleeve of liners for one price, but I'm clueless as to where. Cheapest I've seen are at Dollar General (and that's not cheap enough). I went online to samclub and didn't find them listed there either. I can buy 700 coffee filters at sams under $3, but can't buy smaller cupcake liners for the same price?

Any ideas?

i googled wholesale muffin liners and picked the middle link out of the google ad box-
