Can I do a missed coupon with 4 of the same TQs on 1 receipt? I bought 4 Merona tshirts and didn't realize there was a coupon until I got home. I saw something in deals recently but can't find the post, there was a limit of some sort, but not sure if it was MQ or TQ.
Strictly a YMMV. It's a TQ some stores limit to one. Some stores limit to two. I would take the receipt in and try.Wink If its still on sale you could return and rebuy two if they only let you do two missed TQ's.

You will only be allowed to do one missed TQ in a transaction. All can be done but they will have to do them one at a time in separate transactions.

That is the way it is done here. The register just does not allow more than one missed TQ.

Thanks for clearing that up, it's been ages since I did a missed coupon.

I enjoyed my brother and SIL being here for my birthday yesterday. Today we got the new TV stand in place and the surround sound fixed. Now I just have to pony up the $$ for HD cable and I'll be set. I didn't shop yesterday or today. Been too busy with the family to worry about it.

Oh, Happy Birthday to you yesterday. Glad your family was there to share it with you. hug

You will love your HD cable. Surround sound must be awesome.

Did a lot of shopping yesterday but did not get out early. Just went to Dillard's, Target and WM. Went by Best Buy to get a case for my Kindle Fire. They had the cases 50% off. There was a line of about 30 people in the checkout lanes and 2 registers open. Put case back. Not waiting in line that long to spend money.

Put a deal alert in for a Kindle Fire case. That's how I got one for my iPad - for $7.99!

Good Morning!!

What a weekend. Spent ALL day yesterday shopping, mostly at Walgreens and Kohl's. Sadly, I didn't even stop at Target. But did drive thru the parking lot. LOL

Hey Flug- I guess you figured out that 2 of the kohls q's wouldn't work in a single transaction? Sorry about that, I have used 2 of the $5 at once before with no problems. But when I tried it with the $10 ones it wouldn't work, so not sure if they tweaked their registers or if it was just because I had the $10 cpns?..Anyways, they were great about letting us do back to back transactions so we didn't have to stand in line as long. Ended up with lots of stuff. Even my DD used a lot and didn't have any problems. So proud of her for couponing. She thought it was great to get 10 clothing items for under $15..sweaters, jeans, skirt, lots of cute things.

DH and I spent most of our time at WG. Ended up with soo much stuff and about $450 in RR. Took some time but worth it. We ended our day yesterday by using some of those RR to get some items we needed...DVD's, canned air, food/grocery items, Coke/Mt. dew, trashbags, GC's (we have a very nice manager at WG). One lady that preorders her stuff was there for all 3 days, all day. I am saying from like 9am until they closed. They told me she finally got done doing her transactions Sat afternoon. I can't even imagine how much she bought.

The best part was..our kids didn't even really realize we were gone that long. LOL...They met us for lunch, went to a couple stores by the mall with us, and went back home. (This is one of the good things about having teenagers..they can drive/take care of them selves when we are not home!!)

Now to figure out what we are going to eat this week, cause we didn't stop for groceries and toothpaste and razors are going to help with that. LOL (AND WM/Target are a 45 min drive so no going back today).
Hope that everyone had a great Holiday weekend!!

Once you get a chance to play with it, I have a question on the Kindle Fire. My uncle who is retired wants to get a laptop to look things up on the internet. But I was thinking that if he just wants to get to the internet, couldn't he just get a Kindle Fire? I don't think he needs laptop. Do you think the Kindle fire would be good for just cruising the internet?

I know with an IPad you need a computer to hook to for syncing and backing up and doing upgrades. (icloud is supposed to replace that, but i don't think it's there yet) Do you need a computer for upgrades to use a Kindle Fire?

I think the only other obstacle is going to be that you need a credit card to set up an Amazon account and my uncle refuses to get one. He doesn't even have a debit card.

I was able to stack a 15%, $10, and $5 all on one transaction. And the $10 was the one that came in the mail, supposedly for use between midnight and 4am. I used it around 8am, and it went through fine. Was not going to stand in the line that wrapped around the entire store at midnight. shake head

Way to go at Wags!! I never even looked at their ad - didn't want to get tempted. laugh out loud They are the furthest drugstore from me, and I already was planning on doing Rite Aid and CVS. Figured I wouldn't push it with a third one. Wink This holiday was so low-key and relaxed for us, I was so happy. Just our little family on Thursday, which meant I could run out once the kids were down for a nap and hubby was watching football. Big Grin Friday we shopped in the morning, and then had family over in the afternoon/evening. And then I didn't even go out anywhere on Saturday - just raked leaves with the family, took a nap, etc. Oh, wait - I did run to Bloom and RA real quick to grab things for dinner and finish up a deal. But that's it! It felt nice to just relax.

Hope everyone else had a great holiday! Now to get ready for the next one. Crazy

You need WIFI to make it work since it doesn't run on 3G. I think a cheap laptop would work better especially for an older person as the touchscreen keyboard could be a pain and the screen isn't that large for reading articles etc. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Fire but I find myself still using my laptop. For my kindle/ebook files, I have to use my computer for the calibre program, then send them to my amazon/kindle address, then dowlonad into my kindle. I think netbooks are pretty inexpensive now, no?

I've got a baked sandwich [southernplate.com] (roll dough, ground beef, onions, peppers, cream of mushroom soup) in the oven. I hope it's good, as I feel like I've been playing with it all day. Recipe from southern plate (she's local to me and is a friend's sister). The cranberry crunch [southernplate.com] was tasty Eat

Ya'll would have laughed at me, as it calls for one loaf of roll dough, but they came 3 to a pkg and were frozen together. I had to semi-defrost the things just to get them apart.

ETA: this would have been very bland without the peppers, onions and garlic powder I added. Maybe some italian seasoning and cheese next time.
