L2B- congrats on your DD grad HS, mine graduates on June 7th, she will be off to college in Sept but looks like she has a summer job at the UC, so she will probably be gone the beginning of July. Your youngest reminds me of how my son, who turned 21 yesterday, used to smile when he was young like her. They grow up so fast enjoy them why the are young.
Was at T last night and was at GS and heard a cashier tell the Mgr "the guy with the coupons was there". They got AP and as I left I saw him with coupons in his hand and I guess they were checking each one over. The ones I could see from a distance look like PG ones from the newspaper. Not sure if they thought he was using them on things he is not suppose or ?? I have had them at times make me do each coupon after each item to match them up. When I asked why I was told that AP wants them to do it this way. I have not had this happen in a while, but wonder if they thought I was trying to do something funny. Well they saw I wasn't.
Finally gonna trek out to get some fish. I am giving in to peer pressure LOL. I also couldn't find any ibuprofen at the T s I hit while traveling this week (for work). But the final push to get out the door is that T is the only place I can find Fiber One muffin mix. To anyone who doubts T gets paid back, let me say I have been buying the $5 boxes of muffins (no coupons around, either, gasp!) since I was able to get a Wilton pan 70% off after Easter. They are really good muffins, low in fat & calories.

Graduation is over, gotta plan next weeks party, and then vacation starts the week after. The beach is calling my name!
Enjoying a few minutes to relax before the craziness starts.. 4 graduation parties this weekend.. Looks like I am gonna drop quite a few $$..

Well, fishing season is over!! I am really happy for those that got in on it, but extremely happy that it is over. (we didn't get it here) Kept reading deals waiting for something new and exciting to shop for and it was always fish. Now had it been chicken or beef, I would have been totally jealous but we catch and eat our own fish here so wasn't any big deal for us. lol
DH and I took DS to find, what we thought would be a few cheap things he needed for his school trip. Well, he found what he wanted but it was by no means cheap! That boy can shop!! He knows what he wants and he shops till he finds it. But I would rather spend the money on something I know he likes and will wear rather than buy something he doesn't and ends up in yard sale box. For example he had trouble finding the 'right' shirt to match a pair of sport shorts he has. Well, we ended up at academy sports store and the only one he found was $26.99
I can concur that I think I have spent a small fortune on new clothes and accessories for this trip. We all now have new cothes, underwear/boxers, socks and shoes. I am a weirdo like that and figure if I am going to be paying the price I paid for the actual vacation that we could at least look decent.
Which leads me to say, that I thank the good lord today that we are fortunate enough to have the things we need plus be able to live a nice life.
Ok those are just my thoughts please don't hate me.
On a Target note..I did get to make a quick run thru at Target. Stopped and looked lovingly at the IPads. I really want one. DH told me to go ahead and get it but decided I had better wait. Then in the car DS says that he would have skyped me while he was in the hotel, now I wished I would have gotten one! Would have loved to see him while he is with his group having fun!
As we were strolling the clearance endcaps, there sat a Saltwater Filter system, like we use on our pool. DH passed it up cause ours works ok. I of course (since it was on endcap) stopped turned it around and it had a red sticker on it.
Funny thing about the whole DS shopping was, when we got to Logan's to eat, he couldn't decide what to get cause he didn't really want to pay the price of a $20.99 steak! hehe Like it was coming out of his pocket.

I would almost rather have them check out my coupons than just sit around and be suspicious of me. I had the CS person come and check me out a few months ago. I argued my point on a couple coupons - and they scanned - and she took them. I am so glad I did that - otherwise she would always think I tried to use invalid coupons.
So many times they read what they think the coupon should say, instead of what it actually says.
I had a store near my house that 2 supervisors insisted on checking through my coupons before I could finish paying because "someone" was copying mq. I dealt with it for about 2 months before I complained- if they didn't find the culprit in 2 months they weren't going to find them, and really I thought it was just a way of arguing with the coupons before the cashier even got around to scanning them.
i messed up a little yesterday and forgot to use any q's on my birds and fish cuz i was so excited to find the foodsavers, painkillers, welch's, etc. so i had to go back in and get more birds and fish b/c i forgot to use my bogo

You didn't have to dress expensive - but everyone wore their "nice clothes."
Even when we went to the movies - we actually "got ready" and my mom wore perfume. Whenever we smelled perfume we knew we were going somewhere "special" - or that company was coming over to play cards.

They are all pretty good about coupons now (until we get a new bunch in customer service). But the CS manager (or whatever they call her) told the CS employees that I know my coupons - and not to give me a hard time. In fact, a couple times a cashier told me they would have to have someone come out and check my printables - and then told me that the CS manager popped her head out, saw it was me, and told them to go ahead. That is a good feeling to know that even if I have a bunch of pdf printables - the CS manager just says "Oh... it is her - her coupons are good."
They really must be getting a lot of fake coupons now though. Several CS people have remarked that they have. But I agree with you, if they haven't found the person in a couple months.... there is no reason to make everyone feel like a criminal.
My gosh! I was at the commissary several months ago and handed the cashier the wrong stack of coupons. I had stacks on 20 of this and 20 of that, that I had taken coupons out as I bought the items - and I handed the cashier the stack of coupons of things I hadn't bought, instead of the stack of coupons for the stuff I purchased.
When I saw that my total was already negative, with lots of coupons left to scan I thought
When I told her what happened - she just kept saying "You are good with your coupons, so I just thought you had bought all these items." (Such a refreshing change from having to dig through 15 bags to prove you bought a candy bar).
I tried to get her to void the whole order and start over. For some reason her and the CS person just wanted to void the coupons one by one. I don't think we ever got the order all the way straight.
Every once in awhile I still run across a cashier that wants to look at all my coupons and all my items and then still needs to dig through the bags at the end. But generally, I don't have many coupon problems there. (at least not at the moment).
