Krispy Kreme has a free donut per customer. Dunkin Donuts has a free donut with purchase of a beverage. I am thinking about walking (with my kiddoes!) the 15 mins to DD so we can burn off any calories consumed.
Bust getting ready for vacation.. We are going to the beach for a week. Pretty excited about the beach and about being in the land of multiple Publix stores
That being said, I found out the store there accepts competitor coupons from several stores that I am not familiar with.. I asked in the Publix chat thread with not much response, so I thought I would ask here..
Anyone know where I can get $$ off coupons from any of these stores.. Whole foods, save a lot, winn dixie, or sweet bay ?

Flugette, I'd tell that store that rather than extending the coupon shopper's checkout experience, that they should make the cashier be more attentive to the order they are ringing up. It is absolutely ludicrous that the customer has to do the work for the retailer! I mean really, how hard is it to take note of what a customer's purchase is?!?! That my friends is an aspect of customer service and Flugette, your store is failing!
They had a great deal going! They were giving bonus points on health and beauty purchases. Granted, razors, pantene, etc, were cheaper up front at OTHER stores - but with the bonus points Kmart had a bit better of a deal.
Wellllllllllllll - They NOW decided the bonus points were an "error." And they took them all away.
And NOW they decided we weren't supposed to get bonus points unless we had a coupon for them for them. Their system "accidentally" gave them to everyone, and their agents "accidentally" told people we were supposed to get them. But without so much as an email or an explanation - the points just disappeared from our accounts. Many people now have negative accounts.
To make matters worse - some people have been accused of "taking advantage" of the "mistake." How in the heck were we supposed to know it was a mistake? Without the bonus points being taken into consideration we could have done much better deals at other stores.
To top it off - Kmart and SYWR have not even given us the courtesy of responding to our complaints on their facebook pages.
I can't believe how much time, money, and coupons I wasted at Kmart these past couple of weeks.

I lost $109 in points. I never would have bought all that stuff there if I had known the points were going to be taken back away. Because returning anything to Kmart is a nightmare. And I would not have paid that much OOP for the items if I wasn't being given the bonus points.
The woman at SYWR said I should just return all the stuff I bought that had the bonus points taken away. But I know that would be a nightmare, and I would be lucky to get very much back.
Heck - I had a cashier charge me for three rolls of toilet paper when I only bought two. Seeing I was charged $5.49 too much - I walked over to customer service and said "See - I just have TWO toilet papers. See - they charged me for THREE." I expected to get $5.49 back. The CS said "We can only refund $1.35."
But no - Kmart wanted to deduct the value of the coupons from the one I was charged for due to their cashier's error! And I had used a $10 CRT to pay. Yes! I paid for the stuff I actually bought and am keeping!!
But I just got an "Oh...well... our system just does that - There is NOTHING we can do....."
They see absolutely nothing wrong with overcharging a customer $5.49 and only refunding $1.35 ?????
I think the Attorney General would see something wrong with that!!!
Luckily, I was actually at the GOOD Kmart - and so I asked to speak to a manager and he finally gave me a gift card to make up the difference. They know I talk to the store manager there and fill out all those online surveys and give them high scores.
Had I been at the other Kmart - I would have been out of luck.
I've been swamped this week, so I haven't read the thread in quite some time.

But your warning "Remember, this is Kmart.." was enough to scare me...
Even when the CS actually TRIES to help - the whole system is wonky. Or as THEY say "The system just DOES that....."

Why did I see up an Amazon deal alert? Way too many notifications.
