Morning. My internet was finally fixed yesterday. Stupy cable company... they disconnected next door and forgot that I was here too.

ETA: I called on Wed and said ya'll screwed up... They made an appt for Thursday at 3:30. I took off from work, no one showed Ranting They called me friday and asked why I didn't show up? Excuse me? They wrote the appt down for Thursday MORNING... um, yeah, I was here at 3:30 in the Morning on Thursday, hopefully sound asleep (apparently they wrote down a different time). They showed up late yesterday afternoon to finally fix it.
Eek, glad they finally got it fixed though!

Good afternoon!...A nice steamy 99* here right now. blah

Target is boring! They need to come up with some good deals. Went this morning and bought one of those $219 dyson. I like my old one better. The new one is small compared to the others. I figured for $219 w/$80gc back it was worth it. I gave it to my teenagers to keep in their rooms thinking maybe they would use it. LOL I know, in a year it will still be brand new, never used. LMAO
I looked thru patio and they had one gazebo 70% off at $112.xx and the other one 50% off at $99.xx. We really could use a new one, but apparently I thought we needed a dyson first. I left and completely forgot to get one of those Ice Machines they have for $119. I definately NEED one of those. My poor freezer ice maker cannot keep up. Esp. with this heat. We race each other to the fridge when we hear the ice drop. haha

Only other thing I bought was OM bologna w/cpn and a pair of ear buds for $4.xx on 70% off clearance. I think that is the least amount of items I have ever bought. (not $$ wise of course)

Hope you all have a nice evening! We will be spending ours sitting at the baseball field in what should be 100+ degree weather by then. vomit

Phew please don't send that weather here, it's hot enough as it is. I gave up on the ice maker, we buy bags of ice every few days. Favorite places- KFC sells ice for $1 per bag and Sonic (mmm Sonic ice) is $1.50.

We actually have ice kiosks (for lack of a better term). A standalone building that is paid like a vending machine. $1.50 for 25 lbs of ice.

By your experience, *I* would guess you are dealing with comcast or at&t... lol. But maybe it's just cable companies in general.

Well... I have never seen that before, but that would be totally awesome.

Wave

Not much going on here. T is seemingly boring unless I'm missing something (which I could be...) I want another dyson, but don't have the cash for it! (want... not need, thankfully!) I really like the one I got last year or so ago. Never thought I'd say that about a vacuum. Shopping doesn't seem interesting lately. Even Kroger is blah and Wags is okay but tax is killing me on any major deals. It doesn't seem like there is much opportunity to stock up on the stuff we actually need right now, so it's making me bored I guess!

I guess that's a good thing then, eh? Though, I'm noticing we've gone through pretty much all our TP lately, and laundry detergent is just about out also. Amazing how you seem to have a surplus for a while and then *poof* - it's gone.

I do have bleach... lol. We hardly ever use it, but I have plenty now. 8 gallons will probably last me a good 2 years!

Well... I'm just rambling and I really just wanted to say "hello". Smilie

Hmm now where would I store 25 lbs of ice? Usually it's 8- 10 lb bags around here.

lol about Comcast. I bought some of the Charmin/ Bounty last week and the only decent mq was in the packs of Bounty- there are marked packages with $1/1 Bounty and $1/2 Charmin. Sucky.
Speaking of ice, while I was the antepartum testing center, I asked about self-serve ice and water. woot they do have ice/ water machines for patients, and it's the soft almost pebble ice similar to Sonic. I was hoping that since the hospital is less than a year old they would have some of the new neater amenities.

Uhh if ya want a slick deal on ice find a motel, carry ice chest and fill it from the ice chests they have for guests, usually outside by vending machine.

We fill our ice chest all the time this way on our way to the shore.

free...yes...but do they have the sonic ice?! LMAO

ugh y'all have made me crave sonic and I am nowhere near one Frown
at least it looks like I'll be able to escape to Sonic on our trip to NC w/ the in-laws bounce

:::::::::disclaimer - pass ... it's my sad rant::::::::
I'm not looking forward to this trip though as spending 4 days w/ ppl that always compete about every little thing, had no idea if DS2 had gotten into the dog medicine they left open on the kitchen island where the kids eat, still asked us to pay rent when DH and I were both unemployed and have "special cookies" in the spare fridge will probably turn into war from all the repressed feeling DH and I have. We are actually afraid to be kicked out of the house since they just told us they were going to get rid of the tenants next door because FIL is going to court to get the house for half what it is worth since he was the power of attorney of the lady that passed away there and the next of kin didn't surface to take ownership/sell. It is disgusting how unfair some things are..but in the end, I have faith a better day will come. At least our 3 beautiful little boys are healthy and happy. Someday DH and I will get a break from wondering who will screw us next.

golly..I didn't not expect to put all of this and tears out tonight.
sorry

I make ice the old fashion way EEK! ice maker in the fridge broke years ago. I tried to fix it myself, but couldn't get it to work. I should really make something with ice since I bought a margarita maker couple of years ago, and only used it once.

Not me. I just guessed, and I have HUGE kids so I always just stocked up on the bigger sizes.

This question wasn't directed to me , however this might be of interest

Thank you!! I bought almost every size 2 and 3 box of Pampers that I've found clearance in the stores I've been to over the last few weeks. I think we are stocked for a little while. Or I hope.
