It's not that bad today but Thursday through next week are projected to be 95 or higher. Thursday- ugh, forecast of 102 before any heat index and I can't stay home because I have another nst and growth scan. Blah.
However, I am addicted to ice chips. lol I have a ninja that crushes ice in nothing flat to make a nice cup of shaved ice. Add a nice cool beverage and i have an instant slush type drink. yum! We have a problem keeping enough ice for all of us between me shaving it (it takes quite a bit to shave for one cup) and the kids constantly filling their cups for cold drinks. Our regular ice maker just can't keep up. And the one from target makes the circle ice ring cubes and once your drink settles on them, they soften up a bit and aren't hard and crunchy and it is so easy to chomp on that ice than our regular ice. My mom has one and we go get a bag a day from her. Figured I might as well just invest in my own.
Besides, I now have an $80gc to use towards it. lol (from the dyson purchase).
I went to Dillons (kroger) today and people were all excited about the Angel soft 4pk TP for $1.00. Now I admit it has been a long time since I have had to buy TP, but I didn't think it was that great of a deal. So I go check the tags and it said reg. price was $1.12
Shopping is boring..either a sign that I have too much crap already or just that the deals are so bad..or a little of both! Maybe this Sunday will bring some new TQ's and a little more fun to my shopping trip.
tn We have those here too (well actually the next town over, which is 30min). They are great when you need to fill up ice chests for campouts or road trips. Dispenses it right into the ice chest or you can choose less ice and have it dispensed in a bag.

We just started getting Sonic the hamburger place here. Not one for a couple towns over though .
We are in for a heat wave here 97t for about a week they are saying..
Not used to that kind of heat here and especially this early , maybe a day or tow in August, hope I don't melt.!!!!!...ugghhhhh

took dh's parents to the state fair yesterday. dh had won tix from a radio station and there is free parking at the beginning of the wk. pretty small, been to county fairs bigger than this state fair, typical food, midway, shows. the shark show was mildly entertaining and a little educational, the big cat show was pretty good, also educational, magic show was geared to small kids, pig racing was very loud and actually getting boring b/c i see them almost every yr at the county fairs, circus actually was pretty good. we chose not to see the hypnotist show b/c didn't think dh's parents would get it but did catch a glimpse on the way out and it looked interesting. i've actually never seen a hypnotist show. we don't do any of the rides, just bought dinner which averaged 8.00 per person w/ free drinks from the brochure. i think gas and tolls probably ended up costing around that much.
today i plan to clean the bathroom. yuck!
