Thanks! We had a great time relaxing?? well, mentally yes.. physically absolutely not

We have done Disney in December. I loved it then. Depends on when you go. If you can go early before it gets near the Christmas crowds, it is very nice! We went the first week of December several years ago. Crowds were minimal, Christmas decor was nice, and weather was perfect to me. We wore jeans and short sleeve shirts. We took hoodies with us and needed those first thing in the morning, but by noon or so we took those off and were very comfortable until evening. Layers was the best thing. I would say you could totally do capri pants, but I would plan on something long sleeves or a light sweater as well. The only negative I can say weather wise was that we were not able to enjoy some of the water rides. That year we went to Universal and DH really wanted to ride the popeye boat ride so we did. We got soaked and were freezing. My MIL and FIL were with us and not happy at all after that.
We were originally planning a December trip this year, but couldn't work it all out. My DD doesn't finish college finals until too close to the holidays.

Uhh yea physically exhausting! I agree but a wonderful kind of exhausting. I will probably need jeans and hoodie then cause I freeze when it is 70 degrees out! lol

Well we are booked to be in disney Dec 17-21 (mon-fri) So could be somewhat crowded. This is only if my DS can take his finals early cause he will miss the last 3 days of the semester (which is when they normally take finals). We have never taken the kids out of school to go but figured we would try it this year, IF the school agrees to let him take them early. DD who is a sophmore in college said she will be done with hers. We have just always wanted to see the holiday decor AND they are offering Free Dining!! And we like food, just don't really like to pay the prices for it. lol

We were there in May (Memorial weekend!) for 2 weeks, so crowds should seem low compared to then, I would think. lol
This trip is really pushing our budget but I want to spend as much time with my teens as possible before they start their own adult lives. So trying hard to make it happen.


Flug....I am on my second fillup of vinegar and still short cupping. Man, this is very annoying, I just want to throw it out the door! I will keep it up, though, in hopes that it just miraculously pops out a full cup!

forgot. saw craig ferguson on sat. his opening act which is the guy who does jeff the robot is a great impressionist i think you call it. does a great morgan freeman. his regis philbin and matthew mcconaughey is a little too exaggerated. craig ferguson was very good but why do comedians these days think they can only be funny if they are extremely crass and vulgar??? i miss johnny carson. he was really funny but nothing you didn't want your kids to see or hear. you just do not have to go so low. it's not necessary. there is plenty of material w/o going there.

Completely agree. To me, the funniest sitcoms are the ones where they *don't* bring sex/potty talk/vulgarity/yuckiness into the storyline. Hubby and I love "Up All Night", and while they do have their share of innuendos and such, the story is strong enough to not depend on that stuff to carry it.

We were hoping to go on a hike today with the kids since we all have off, but its chilly and possibly off-and-on rain, and I have to sing tonight at church, so we're staying home and relaxing. Kind of nice. I'm gonna get dinner in the crockpot and then hit up a store or two.

Anything nice going on at Target? I don't have anymore of the Glade BOGO qs - are there other qs to use with the deal to make it worthwhile? PM, if necessary.

Thanks for the birthday greetings! I can now get the Coach sack out of the hall closet and have my present...LOL! We don't have a factory store here, but DH and I were down in Portland last month and I got a purple patent handbag and a black wallet that was to be for my birthday. I'm not ready to switch them over yet, but soon.

I'm sitting here with a cup of Keurig, and have the space heater on. Had to cave and get it out from garage yesterday because it's been so cold at night. It was 28 when DH left this morning at 5am. It will be upper 60's maybe 70 today, but house is cold in the mornings. I delay turning on the central heat until we almost have frostbite...LOL!

the only thing i can think of is method laundry if you can find the 2.00 peelies that are really 2.00 if you find the yellow ones or really 1.00 if you find the blue ones. b3g1 - peelie - tq = free or overage.

oh, and stayfree ends on saturday if you can get hold of anymore q's. even w/o any q's the 2.89 and 3.19 ones are a good deal if you need. there is a .50ip.

right now i'm obsessed w/ the mentalist and there is blood and dead bodies just at the beginning and sometimes shooting at the end, b/c of course it is a cop show investigating murder cases so how can you not? not as gory as bones. but there is very little sex, violence, etc and even the main protagonists' relationship is a real teaser whether they even like each other as more than just partners.

didn't know it until recently but there is a huge, huge, online fanbase that spends so much time speculating on their relationship in huge forums, making videos, writing fan fiction from pg rated to X. reminds me a little of moonlighting but in the mentalist it's even more subtle than that. i like the show b/c it gets me thinking to how he solved the crime. i read a review yesterday where they likened the it to sherlock holmes. but b/c it's a tv show i think about how probable or improbable it is, how realistic it is or if it's not reality and just tv. basically evaluating the strength of the script. makes you think and exercises the mind. i like it more than mindless tv.

Here you go! I will probably wear the straps in the longer crossbody style most of the time. The wallet has purple lining inside and lots of room, I'll have to get used to a larger wallet, have been using a very small one for a while. This one is nice that I can just take the wallet at times when I don't need a purse. Now let me say this is my first Coach and I didn't buy it as an investment piece. I didn't even bother to research the line before I went, I just wanted to get something I liked. It worked out well that way, less stress over am I doing the right thing...LOL! Now I'm a bit more educated, but heck, I will still buy what I want anyway. I got rid of most of my handbags a few months ago and only kept a few of the classics that I use. So I switch between a black B. Makowsky, a teal/brown Rafe New York, and now this purple Coach. I've become lazy about switching out bags to match outfits anyway.

I do not have an Outlet either but a dear friend does and she is getting one for me tomorrow. Coach will ship it for $10 so a great deal for me.

I know some of you moms on here were talking about girls' clothes, and I know one of the brands was Hanna Andersson. Wracking my brain trying to remember the other ones, but can't seem to recall them! I am not liking anything I see at Target for my 5yo, and would love to look on ebay for something but can't figure out where to start! TIA!
