Oh.. What a day... Seems long now...
School leave for today and tomm, office closed. Heavy rain... Basement has a leak from the water pipeline coming into the home. Used lots of sheets, 3 comforters and came out with different ideas about sealing. Tried and tried with new options none worked.
Atleast found some info on hydraulic cement, atlast it helped, although tiny tickles of water is still coming.
I am sure the craziday continued with some droplet of water from our bedroom celing. DH went into the attic, now the light is gone, changed the bulbs and found the spot. We put a bug tub underneath and praying.
Forgot to buy ice, fridge is all loaded. I am going nuts, why would I have loaded my fridge. it is fulll.
now i could see the light flickering 4 times in a row.
I am going to fill water in tupperware boxes and leave it in the deep freezer, hope we dont lose power immediately. Flug, thanks for the idea sweetie..
My brain is fried and am not thinking straight.
Only good thing, walked up and down the stairs atleat 20 times now... Good for my bum and thighs...
I have containers of water in my freezer, 18 eggs boiled, laundry almost all washed, dishes washed, stocked on lots of non-perishables, so we are ready. Pretty crazy. They are saying the latest computer models show it stalling out right over MD, which is definitely not good. Current forecast is saying winds sustained up to 60+MPH, for 12-16 hrs.
i have lots and lots of tuna but next time i need to pick up those little mayo packs and relish packs when we eat fast food.
