Is there fee to use coinstar? So you are just paying $40 for a $50 GC?

yep... in this case there is no fee. Usually there is, but not during this promotion. (I have done it for years [amazon, starbucks, etc] for my nieces and nephews), but last year I didn't find it. This year it's only those three companies (Dell, Old Navy and I-Tunes). Remember to search the site, as I have a friend who went to do this, only to find out that Dell wasn't included at that location.

have some extra change, just in case the machine throws out some. ie, it MUST be over $40 to work.

I was uninspired at T since the GC Q came out, but I do now have lots of restaurant gift cards... Cracker Barrel, Darden (Red Lobster, Long Horn, Olive Garden), Red Robin, Starbucks. ETA: remember when I'm gone to watch my niece play BB, we eat out a lot.

Only one of four targets (two ST, two Regular) carry the small bags of Archer Farms coffee and that one has a pitiful selection.

I got some GCs as well. And I did purchase few other things that I had in mind, so I can say it was a really productive promotion! ESP. That I used my T GCs to pay for the restaurant ones so I was able to convert the money that T had given me.

I think there are only four flavors of the small bags of coffee.

I started working full time as a teacher's assistant for K-4 at a private school, so my time on SD has been greatly diminished! But ... one of my kids is home sick today, so I get a day off. laugh out loud

hey there! glad to see you!

i think during the holidays everyone is esp busy. still have my mil and 2 nephews to buy for. waiting for a good gc deal for a 16yr old and 18yr old.

I understand that, but if you only have one or less of each flavor on the pegs, it's kind of difficult to buy them. I only want to buy hazelnut, but woefully sold out each time I venture that far out.

I miss the laughs, as some of the TCC are so darn funny.

I was never a TCCer but darn this thread did slow down, but all the nice peeps are in here so I always peeked in.................took a few months off from couponing myself as I was just not feeling it for a while, getting back into it but I swear the past year has seen a slowing to a crawl of the deals at most places. Hope everyone is all set for the holidays and doing well!

This... I miss talking to everyone (or just reading lol).

Hope you all are having a nice time getting ready for the holidays. I have decided that this year is about my family NOT about gifts. So we are going on vacation for Christmas. It took my extended family a while to accept it (actually not sure they have or maybe they don't care Wink ).
I am just tired of all of the unnecessary over extravagant gifts! AND since I don't approve and would probably get a fight started if I voiced my opinion, I am just going to spend the time with my husband and kids at Disney!!
Less stress and some quality time with my "growing up way to fast" teenage/young adult kids and my "over-worked/underpaid" husband! lol
Seems hubby has worked about 50-60hrs a week most of the year and feel we need this time with just our family to reconnect.

I have had fun this past week or so getting some GC's at T to use on our trip. Just in time!!

In case I don't make it back in here...HAPPY HOLIDAYS and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!woot

morning.

my dh is an alien. dh asked me last night to run the dishwasher when i got up b/c i usually get up earlier than he does. i get up b4 him b/c i'm thirsty, go to the bathroom and then proceed to put the sponges and sink strainer in the dishwasher. couldn't have been more than 15 minutes. dh comes down and says- you ran the dishwasher already? huh? does he have no concept of time whatsoever? is he in a timewarp? i said- i didn't even start it yet. what made you think i already ran it? he says- it was open. (alien music playing in the background.)
