It was sleeting when I came home from work last night.

There was a guy that got hit by a car on the road I come home on. I live out in the county. There are street lights ONLY at road intersections. I feel bad for the person that hit (and killed) the guy, but in her defense, how could she see him? It's dark, raining, he's wearing black, no street lights or sidewalks and he is walking in the road (ditch is full of water).
Sad for both families. The person will probably not be charged with anything since they did not do anything wrong. A friend of DH, his wife was driving and a motorcycle crossed over the line and was on her side and she swerved to the side of the rode he was suppose to be on well he decided to swerve back at the same time and she hit him and he died. She got charged with manslaughter. Seems to me that is not fair but they said she was the one in the wrong because she was on the wrong side of the rode. So lesson to self stay on your side not matter what and if you hit them, you hit them Frown

Anyone on here buy from Ulta- I bought a perfume that came with a robe before Christmas and found out my sister got the perfume from her husband so I did not give it to her. I used my reward when I got the perfume, if I return the set, will I lose my reward?

Don't know the answer, but could you maybe save the perfume and give it to her for her birthday?

Yawn somebody wake me when the toy rush is over.

It snowed today for more than 4 hours. It was pretty. Sun came out and poof, all the snow is gone.

(only kid I shop for is a great nephew. His parents picked out something expensive for Christmas (their money pooled together) so he got a Dr. Seuss book from me... that was all)

I tOtally understand that sentiment , when everything posted is about something you have no need for , it can be boring and seemingly un-ending.
sure for young families , this clearance can be the diffferance between a meager christmas
and a good one. I'm sure they are thrilled.

Snow ??? I'm way north of you and we haven't had any snow, so you kinda got the best of both worlds the the pretty, without the shoveling, bad roads etc.bounce

Yeah, no need for toys here, I'd be lost if I had to venture in there for something! If any good glitch comes up during toy time, please post it here!

Non toy deal from drozee78: "market pantry italian meatballs $2.68
was out shopping tonight and found a possible price mistake. the Market Pantry Italian meatballs 28 oz bag DCPI 210 02 0037 were ringing up $2.68! these are normally anywhere between $4.99- $6.14 depending on your store."

Not TCing, but I don't think the meatballs are a price mistake. I've been buying them at this price for at least the past two months at either of the two stores close to me. I remember even taking a picture of the tag the first time I bought them, in case they rang up wrong at the register, but the price was correct. I like them, a little greasier than I prefer, but not too bad for a quick meal. My dd prefers the Cooked Perfect turkey meatballs though, which are way more than the T brand Sadwalk. Oh well, haha Smilie

I've been eyeing some fingerless gloves for the past two weeks that have been at 50% the whole time. I am not spending $5+ on fingerless gloves. (Not, not, not. I have to keep telling myself this, I could really use a pair.)
too bad you missed the pale lavender children's fingerless gloves that fit my size 7 hands from the dollar spot clearance for .30. last yr my bff's dd said she wanted fingerless gloves so when i saw them and they were her favorite color, i picked them up. was told they were a hit and the twin sister was upset she didn't get a pair too. at my store they only came in one color so i only bought the one.

I'm trying to check inventory for some items, but not sure how I can, since it no longer allows me to click on "find in store" for the item on the website. Can anyone please tell me how can I check inventory? Thanks!
try this.

Quote from slowtech :
here- replace the XXXXXXXX's w/ the online number. i found the search for the pirate ship, changed the online item # w/ the RR blue bubble and brown baking dish and it worked.

http://m.target.com/fiats/t-XXXXXXXX (8 #'s)
the online item number is above the dpci on the target webpage.

let me know if it worked for you and i will wiki this tomorrow. been busy w/ toy clearance.

Hi eveyone!

No target deals to speak of but I do have a question and figured no better place to ask opinions than the tcc peeps! lol

So my dd car completely went out (warped head apparently so would need new motor) so we will be doing our best to help her get a new(er) one. She has saved like crazy over the last year and has about 7-8k to put towards one. We are hoping to find a good, reliable, gas efficient car under $10,000 and we will help her with whatever the cost is over her amount saved. I am a SAHM and she drives daily to the local college (30min one way) and then back and to work everyday. Sooo...
My question is at what point do you all consider dropping your full coverage ins. down to liability? I did some research and it suggested when your annual premiums are 10% of cars value.

What I am trying to decide is if I should drop MY car down to liability and put her new(er) car to full coverage??? My car is OLD lol It is a 2002, has just at 100,000 miles on it. We bought it brand new off the lot in 2002 and have maintained it well. I hope to keep it until it falls apart! Smilie The car she is looking at is either a 2008 Ford Focus or a 2009 Nissan versa. I think it makes much more sense to apply full coverage to hers and let mine fall to liability. IF we help her buy hers we would have to save a few years in order to recoup that money. (which would be put back into a fund incase mine goes out lol)

Any insight or suggestions? Thanks for your help, you all are always so wonderful!

photos... find yourself a copy of the April Cars edition of Consumer Reports magazine. It will have recommended used cars and those to avoid. My dinky county library even had a subscription.
