hope everyone had a good holiday!

and after xmas clearance that i've already started the list for, what do you guys say to restarting our diet support group? we can either use the old one or i would prefer to start a new one on fb but i understand many people's reticence. i need to drop a few lbs, ever since i stopped posting in the group i have not been watching what i eat. it's just good to keep it in the forefront.

and i think it may have been my fault the jerk started posting in the deal thread. i was extolling the virtues of shopping at target in the wkly staples thread a few months ago b/c the deals at staples have been going south for months after bts and a few of the regulars have been moving to doing drugstore deals. i saw that guy in the staples threads and now he's all of a sudden popped into target and has that same intensity of some of the hot dealers who do exactly the same thing they complain about. cannot believe he complained about OT and then posted about Lowes. incredible!!! and he thinks his deals are so great but in reality such a target newbie.

I use Myfitnesspal and document every bite that goes into my mouth, really keeps me accountable. Mobile app too so it's easy to use on the road.

I use it too, but not the mobile app, as I have a dumb phone. I'm still cranking along lb after lb, slowly but surely.

@tn- i think you should treat yourself to a smartphone. you can sorta make it cheaper thru mobile tq's, ibotta, shopkick, cartwheel and googling when you are shopping to see if you are getting a deal or not and checking reviews. time is money and if i could check reviews b4 buying clearance toys i would save money by not having to return the shitty ones. i've also called my bff to look up stuff for me and dh to check reviews. we just picked up an ipad mini from the walmart black friday. i'll be using that, but it only works if wifi is available.

if i can find a deal for $35 w/ a decent carrier, i will be all over it. i don't need unlimited phone, text and data, i've been surviving on 100 minutes a month for yrs. a decent to generous allowance would be fine w/ me.

My phone costs me $10 a month, as I'm on my brother's plan and it was $10 to add me. I give him a check at the end of each year to cover the next. I also really don't buy that much. I try and do all my homework before I shop.
I may be in the market for something else that can print coupons though (tired of only having one computer at home to print with).

Get you an iPad Mini. You can print from 2 different apps, coupons.com and Grocery iQ. 2 coupons from each app so 4 coupons! I print to an HP laser and not sure what printers work with the iPad.
