The game pieces named Claire and Sayid have been "Claimed" by the black team.

It remains to be seen if Claire is evil or not. She helped Jin by shooting those 2 goons, but maybe she'll shoot Jin next. Good to see her again - and you had to know she was alive.

I forgot if Jack knew that Claire is his half-sister.

Back in LA, Kate showed heart by going back to not only return the stuff she stole from her but to be with her in the hospital.

WTF was Ethan doing as a doctor in LA when he's also on the island? Confused

Claire's fate revealed on 'Lost' [cnn.com]

laugh out loud
Dude, in the alternate timeline the island is underwater. There's no telling where anyone is. The alternate timeline doesn't just prevent the plane from crashing while leaving everything else the same, it changes the course of events from the point in time of the bomb onward.

I hate to say it but last nights episode just didn't do much for me. The only redeeming quality was the whole Claire/Rousseau situation. I'm hoping for good things on next weeks episode though. The one thing that makes me wonder though is if it really is an infection then why did Claire get it? Didn't she vaccinate herself and Aaron with Desmonds stash of hypersprays from the hatch?

Also is anyone else thinking that the Hatch imploded when the guy who originally found Desmond on the island turned the key? I figured without Desmond there to stop him from turning it the big boom happened.

IDK just wanted to run some of my theories past others.

I actually liked the intrigue between the Asian master and Jack/Sayid with the pill being poison.

Back in 2004 when Keamy's team stormed New Otherton and RPGed the house Claire was in, did you notice Miles (Ghost talker) looking at her funny? I figured that meant that Claire was walking dead. Maybe she got "claimed" like Sayid did and her heart filled with darkness.

With The Island underwater in the LA X timeline the hatch would never have been built. My theory is that all the energy was released in 1977 and sunk The Island.

That dialog was pretty good.. most of my issues are with the "present" time stuff. Like the fact that the Taxi didn't have the partition between it and Kate just hopped over the seat, Claire asking her Taxijacker to go up with her to the adoptive parents house and no one even remotely considering to call the police. The whole thing just seemed too far fetched (and yes I do realize that this is a show with smoke monsters, magic numbers, and time travel).

I thought about that too but then how was the imploded hatch there when they time shifted. My theory is that the Island sunk somewhere between 2003 and 2007. Don't have much to back it up but it's just something I can't get outta my mind.

Basically every Lost episode is re-watchable. This is an exception and for the reason you mentioned. Most of the episode was ridiculous -- Claire just sits on a bench and when Kate finds her, she gets back in the taxi? Then they become friends? They probably recognize each other subconsciously, but since that isnt established, the episode comes off as stupid. The poison pill was predictable, but at least tolerable. The last 10 minutes of the show was the only decent bit, but all of the emotion felt forced. It was a bad episode. Like, soap opera bad. The only redeeming bit was the actor in the repair shop; good job there and I expect maybe we'll see him again.

What makes you think Claire has been "claimed"? She seems exactly like Rousseau back when she was alive, both with the appearance and the traps that Kate and the temple team ran into.

I am infering that she died in the RPG blast or shortly after. After she left her baby we see her in Jacobs (ex)hut with her dad Christian acting odd.

I think this is an underlying theme in the alternate timeline scenes. Everyone seems to have a little 'deja vu' when they see each other, but they don't technically know each other.

I kept thinking why the hell she didn't jump out when the Taxi driver did. Kate was jumping over the seat and she just sat there? I think any normal person would see the driver bailing and bail too.

She's 36 weeks pregnant. There's not much jumping around to be done at that stage.
